Abstract

Based on the newly constructed tripartite entangled state of continuum variables (Fan and Jiang 2003 J. Opt. B: Quantum Semiclass. Opt. 5 283) we introduce three different, but mutually commutable, squeezing operators which can squeeze any three-mode quantum states; in particular they squeeze to , and respectively. Schemes of implementing these squeezing operators are briefly discussed.

Based on two mutual conjugate tripartite entangled states and we generalize the two-mode one-sided squeezing operators to three-mode case. We derive how the tripartite entangled states transform under the three-mode squeezing operators. We conclude that the entangled state representations provide a convenient basis for deriving various three-mode squeezing operators.

New Three-Mode Squeezing Operators Gained via Tripartite Entangled State Representation

Nian-Quan Jiang, Fan Hong‐Yi

We show that the Agarwal–Simon representation of single-mode squeezed states can be generalized to find new form of three-mode squeezed states. We use the tripartite entangled state representations | p , y , z 〉 and | x , u , v 〉 to realize this goal.

New Three-Mode Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entangled State Representation and Its Application in Squeezing Theory

Fan Hong-Yi, Nian-Quan Jiang

By extending the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen bipartite entanglement to the tripartite case, we construct the common eigenvector of the tripartite centre-of-mass coordinate and two mass-weighted relative momenta, which is a new entangled state of continuum variables. The classical dilation transform of variables in such a state induces a new three-mode squeezing operator related to a three-mode bosonic operator realization of SU(1,1) Lie algebra.

Two- and three-mode squeezing in a three-qubit entangled system

Joanna K. Kalaga, Jan Peřina

Abstract The states of a three-mode bosonic system with the restricted Hilbert space are discussed in the context of quantum entanglement and squeezing of quantum fluctuations. The states exhibiting nonzero tripartite entanglement are considered. Mutual relations between the two- and three-mode entanglement quantified by the corresponding negativities and the squeezing described by the corresponding principal squeeze variances are revealed. Entangled three-qubit states exhibiting squeezing are identified.
