Abstract

We consider three generic types of coupling between two quantum bits (qubits), which are typically found in solid-state qubits proposed in the literature. We show that proper choice of non-local Bell states can simplify significantly the implementation of quantum teleportation and quantum dense coding.

We provide a class of six-qubit states for three-qubit perfect teleportation. These states include the six-qubit cluster states as a special class. We generalize this class of six-qubit states to 2n-qubit pure states for n-qubit teleportation, n >=1. These states can be also used for 2n bit classical information transmission in dense coding.

Bell States, Dense Coding, and Teleportation

Subhash C. Kak

The question of the measurements on the Bell states by making use of mode change (from mixed to pure) of one qubit is considered. Such a mode change cannot be taken advantage of for superluminal communication in teleportation, and it may define constraints on the size of the gates.

Perfect quantum teleportation and dense coding protocols via the 2N-qubit W state

Mei-Yu Wang, Fengli Yan

In this paper, we investigate perfect quantum teleportation and dense coding by using an 2 N -qubit W state channel. In the quantum teleportation scheme, an unknown N -qubit entangled state can be perfectly teleported. One ebit of entanglement and two bits of classical communication are consumed in the teleportation process, just like when using the Bell state channel. While N + 1 bits of classical information can be transmitted by only sending N particles in the dense coding protocol.

Experimental realization of two qubit teleportation and four bit dense coding

P Sayuj., Ben T Paul, N. C. Randeep

Abstract Quantum teleportation and dense coding are quantum tasks in which an unknown quantum state sends from one location to another in first one and a classical bits sends between two locations in the later. We introduce a quantum circuit for creating generalized Bell states discussed by Gustavo Rigolin (PRA 71, 032303 (2005)). We develop appropriate quantum circuit for realizing two qubits teleportation and four bits dense coding. We experimentally demonstrate these circuits in IBM quantum computer and calculate fidelity of teleportation and efficiency of dense coding.

Quantum dense coding using three qubits

Jose Luis Cereceda

We consider a situation in which two parties, Alice and Bob, share a 3-qubit system coupled in an initial maximally entangled, GHZ state. By manipulating locally two of the qubits, Alice can prepare any one of the eight 3-qubit GHZ states. Thus the sending of Alice's two qubits to Bob, entails 3 bits of classical information which can be recovered by Bob by means of a measurement distinguishing the eight (orthonormal) GHZ states. This contrasts with the 2-qubit case, in which Alice can prepare any of the four Bell states by acting locally only on one of the qubits.
