Experiments of the EPR Type Involving CP -Violation Do not Allow Faster-than-Light Communication between Distant Observers

G. C. Ghirardi, Renata Grassi, A. Rimini +1 more

The proof that faster-than-light communication is not permitted by quantum mechanics derived some years ago by three of us is extended to cover the case of measurements which do not fit within the standard scheme based on sets of orthogonal projections. A detailed discussion of a recent proposal of superluminal transmission making resort to a CP -violating interaction is presented. It is shown that such a proposal cannot work.

Nonlinear quantum evolution does not imply supraluminal communication

Miguel Ferrero, David Cienfuegos Salgado, J. L. Sánchez‐Gómez

We build up simple models of quantum evolution showing that nonlinearity does not necessarily imply either the possibility of faster-than-light communications or the violation of the second law of thermodynamics. We offer counterexamples proving that conditions of no supraluminal communication considered in the literature as necessary and sufficient are actually only necessary. We formulate conditions and show that this preclusion only entails the linearity of reduced dynamics, thus reopening the possibility to unexplored nonlinear joint evolutions. We make constant use of the Bloch representation of finite-dimensional quantum systems to express our results.

Faster-Than-Light Communication using Quantum Entanglement is Possible

Florentín Smarandache

In this little note we refute the statement that Faster-Than-Light Communication using Quantum Entanglement is Impossible, by proving that the alleged proof of the mainstream is irrelevant. Also, the Faster-Than-Light Communication does NOT mean sending information into the past. We recall the many paradoxes of the theory of relativity that make it unrealistic, while the Absolute Theory of Relativity [1] is the realistic one.
