Algebraic structures and deformed Schrödinger equations from groups entropies

Ignacio S. Gomez, Ernesto P. Borges

Motivated by the group entropy theory, in this work we generalize the algebra of real numbers (that we called G-algebra), from which we develop an associated G-differential calculus. Thus, the algebraic structures corresponding to the Tsallis and Kappa statistics are obtained as special cases when the Tsallis and Kappa group classes are chosen. We employ the G-algebra to formulate a generalized G-deformed Schrödinger equation and we illustrate it with the infinite potential well, where the effective mass is related with the G-algebra structure and the $q$-deformed (standard) Schrödinger equation results an special case for the Tsallis (Boltzmann-Gibbs) group class. The non-uniform zeros spacing of the G-deformed eigenfunctions is expressed in terms of the generalized sum of the G-algebra.

Eigensolutions and theoretic quantities under the nonrelativistic wave equation

C. A. Onate, Leke Sunday Adebiyi, Deborah Temitope Bankole

The radial Schrödinger equation was solved with the combination of three important potentials with [Formula: see text] as deformed parameter via the parametric Nikiforov–Uvarov method and the energy equation as well as the corresponding normalized radial wave function were obtained in close and compact form. The energy equation obtained was used to study eight molecules. The effect of the deformed parameter on energy eigenvalues was also studied numerically. The subset of the combined potential was also studied numerically and the results were found to be in agreement with the previous results. To extend the application of our work, the wave function obtained was used to calculate some theoretic quantities such as the Tsallis entropy, Rényi entropy and information energy. By putting the Tsallis index to 2, we deduced the information energy from Tsallis entropy. Finally, the effect of the deformed parameter and screening parameter, respectively, on the theoretic quantities were also studied.

Rényi and Tsallis Entropies of 2p Orbital Helium Atom

Sunita Singh, A. Saha

In this paper, an analytical model of 2p orbital helium atom has been considered to quantify the values of the Rényi and Tsallis entropies along with their theoretical aspects. The normalized radial wave function used here (in atomic units) is obtained by solving the Schrödinger equation. The complete form of the coordinate space wave function is obtained by the use of the spherical harmonics. The momentum space wave function is obtained by taking the Fourier transform of the coordinate space wave function. The probability densities constituted with the respective coordinate and momentum space wave functions have been used to compute the numerical values of the Rényi and Tsallis entropies in the coordinate and momentum space for different values of the order β varying from 2 to 10. The computed values are presented in a tabular form. Further, it is mathematically demonstrated that in the limit of order β → 1, both the Rényi and Tsallis entropies lead to the Shannon entropy. Finally, an outlook of the present work has been summarized with some concluding remarks.
