Study of the entanglement Rate Influence in a Quantum Illumination Radar Scheme: Information Theory Approach

Sylvain Borderieux, Arnaud Coatanhay, Ali Khenchaf

The conventional radar theory relies on the classical electromagnetic wave theory to run. On the contrary, a quantum radar will relie on the quantum mechanic theory to run. A quantum radar that uses the quantum illumination based on photon entanglement enables to get a better detection sensitivity. In this paper, we highlight the influence of the propagation environment on the quantum illumination radar scheme. Our approach consists in describing the quantum information evolution inside the radar and the entanglement rate with a mathematical parameter which represents the interaction strength of the propagation medium on the quantum system used by the radar.

Photon Module — ΔS Phase-Light Mechanism in the ε-Model OS System (2025)

Danijus Kazlauskas

This document presents the complete Photon Module of the ε-Model OS System. In this framework, a photon is defined as a ΔS phase-impulse – a transient change in the balance-intensity field S inside a fixed node of the universal grid. The module provides a deterministic mechanism for light propagation, based on pixel-to-pixel ΔS synchronization, where the speed of light c emerges as the maximum update rate of the universal OS structure. The work formalizes: the photon as a pure ΔS state-update (not a particle or wave), the propagation mechanism that enforces the invariance of c, the formation of a photon at material surfaces through ΔS transformation, information transfer through ΔS structure (frequency, amplitude, direction), the interaction rules for reflection, absorption, and transmission, the detection mechanism as electron-state response to ΔS. The module removes contradictions related to particle/wave duality, quantum collapse, and vacuum propagation by replacing them with a consistent OS-based ΔS update process. This photon description is fully compatible with the ε-Model balance framework and integrates with further modules of the OS system.

Can the speed of information dissemination exceed the speed of light?

Chuyi Wan

When a single photon passes through a slit, the principles of quantum mechanics regarding the boundary conditions of the wave function hide a specific condition: within the wave packet of the photon, the speed of information transmission perpendicular to the direction of photon propagation is infinite. This does not violate Relativity, as it does not conflict with the Principle of Constancy of Light Velocity. In the direction parallel to the propagation of the photons, the speed of information transmission matches c. However, in other directions, the speed of information transmission can exceed c. Causality is not an immutable law of nature, it is not easily overturned at the macro level, while it is not so at the quantum level. Cause and result are mutually causal in different reference frames. Assuming that the angle between the direction of information transmission inside the wave packet and the direction of photon propagation is θ, quantum mechanics utilizes the special case of θ=π/2 to handle wave functions, while the establishment of Relativity is based on the special case of θ=0. Relativity and quantum mechanics can be viewed as two specific instances of a unified theory.
