ON COLOR QUANTIZATION: RELATIONS AND PARASTATISTICS

Władysław Marcinek

Published Apr 20, 1995• 10 citations

Abstract

Particle operators for the description of a system of families of particles of different kind are introduced. The generalized commutators and Klein transformations are discussed in some detail. The color description of parastatistics is given.

Parastatistics and internal symmetries

A. B. Govorkov

Possible generalizations of the statistics of identical particles, parastatistics, and the corresponding theories of parafields are reviewed. The connection between parastatistics and cases of degeneracy of particles with respect to an internal degree of freedom is discussed, and also the restrictions that are imposed on internal symmetries if they are given a parafield description. In particular, the difference between the hypotheses of ''three-color'' quarks and ''paraquarks'' is discussed.

Abstract This chapter analyzes issues that deal with quantum statistics (symmetry of wavefunctions); elements of the second quantization formalism (the occupation-number representation); and the simplest systems with a large number of particles.

ON PARASTATISTICS DEFINED AS TRIPLE OPERATOR ALGEBRAS

STJEPAN MELJANAC, MARKO STOJIĆ, MARIJAN MILEKOVIĆ

Parastatistics, defined as triple operator algebras represented on Fock space, are unified in a simple way using the transition number operators. They are expressed as a normal ordered expansion of creation and annihilation operators. We discuss several examples of parastatistics, particularly Okubo's and Palev's parastatistics connected to many-body Wigner quantum systems and relate them to the notion of extended Haldane statistics.
