Abstract

We present a modified scheme for probabilistic remote preparation of a single qubit when partial classical knowledge of preparing state is available for the receiver. This is in contrast with the previous remote state preparation schemes that the receiver has no classical knowledge of preparing state. It is demonstrated that the total success probability of remote state preparation will be greatly improved when the receiver has partial classical knowledge of preparing state.

A Novel Scheme for Probabilistic Remote State Preparation Via Partially Four-qubit GHZ States

Yi-Qiong Xu, Yongwang Tang, Kekun GUO +5 more

An efficient proposal for probabilistic remote preparation of single-states is presented by using of four-qubit GHZ states without the introduction of auxiliary particles in this paper. It is noting that this scheme can be utilized to perform the remote state preparation when the information of the partially four-qubit GHZ state is only available for the sender. Some appropriate local unitary operations need to be introduced to improve the successful probability of the preparation, and the total probability is twice as much as the one of the previous proposals. Thus, our scheme can expand the research range of the preparation.

COLLECTIVE REMOTE STATE PREPARATION

Nguyen Ba An, Jaewan Kim

We show that any M ≥ 2 distant parties who independently share the complete classical knowledge of a secret qubit state can collectively prepare the state at another remote location. Two distinct schemes for such a task are proposed: one via a single (M + 1)-partite GHZ-type state and the other via M EPR-type pairs. Analytical expressions of the total success probability are derived explicitly for both the schemes. Of interest is the M-dependence of both the success probability and the receiver's action. We also construct simple quantum circuits for the two-qubit operators whose execution is necessary to accomplish the schemes.

Remote preparation of an entangled two-qubit state with three parties

Hong‐Yi Dai, Ping‐Xing Chen, Ming Zhang +1 more

We present a scheme for probabilistic remote preparation of an entangled two-qubit state with three parties from a sender to either of two receivers. The quantum channel is composed of a partially entangled two-qubit state and a partially entangled three-qubit state. We calculate the successful total probabilities of the scheme in general and particular cases, respectively. We also calculate total classical communication cost in a general case and two particular cases, respectively.

REMOTE PREPARATION OF A TWO-PARTICLE ENTANGLED STATE

Haijun Pan, Hong Wei Yu, HONGYE YAN

In this paper, we propose a scheme for probabilistic remote preparation of a two-particle nonmaximally entangled state. In this scheme, two pairs of the two-particle partially entangled state are used as quantum channel. Alice performs the single-particle measurement three times and sends the information to the receiver. In accordance with the information, the receiver can construct the original state. By this method, the total probability of successful preparation is enhanced.

FLEXIBLE DETERMINISTIC JOINT REMOTE STATE PREPARATION OF SOME STATES

Peng Jia-yin, MING-XING LUO, Zhiwen Mo +1 more

We provide a new joint remote preparation scheme for some states. By designing some appropriate measurement bases, two separate parties can jointly prepare a three-qubit state for a remote receiver. The receiver may be assigned during the remote preparation progress. This scheme is extended to M > 2 senders for special two-qubit state. Our scheme succeeds with unit probability and is applicable to a certain realistic situation.

Probabilistic remote state preparation by W states

Liu Jin-Ming, Wang Yu-Zhu

In this paper we consider a scheme for probabilistic remote state preparation of a general qubit by using W states. The scheme consists of the sender, Alice and two remote receivers Bob and Carol. Alice performs a projective measurement on her qubit in the basis spanned by the state she wants to prepare and its orthocomplement. This allows either Bob or Carol to reconstruct the state with finite success probability. It is shown that for some special ensembles of qubits, the remote state preparation scheme requires only two classical bits, unlike the case in the scheme of quantum teleportation where three classical bits are needed.
