SCHEME FOR CONCENTRATION OF UNKNOWN ENTANGLED ATOMIC STATES

Abstract

We proposed a physical scheme to concentrate unknown non-maximally entangled atomic states via cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) techniques. In this scheme, the unique advantage is that the effects of the cavity decay and thermal field have been eliminated by using a classical driving field. The discussion indicates that it can be realized by current technologies.

Scheme for concentration of the unknown GHZ entangled states

Zhang Gang, Yang Ming, Zheng‐Yuan Xue +1 more

We propose two schemes for concentrating unknown nonmaximally tripartite GHZ entangled states via cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) techniques. The finial pure states obtained from the two schemes are shared by two or three parties. Our schemes only require large-detuned interaction between two driven atoms and the quantized cavity mode, which is insensitive to both the cavity decay and thermal field, thus the schemes are well within current experimental technology.

Entanglement concentration for unknown atomic entangled states via entanglement swapping

Ming Yang, Yan Zhao, Wei Song +1 more

An entanglement concentration scheme for unknown atomic entanglement states is proposed via entanglement swapping in cavity QED. Because the interaction used here is a large-detuned one between two driven atoms and a quantized cavity mode, the effects of the cavity decay and thermal field have been eliminated. These advantages can warrant the experimental feasibility of the current scheme.

CONCENTRATION FOR ATOMIC ENTANGLEMENT STATES VIA CAVITY DECAY

Gang Zhang, Ming Yang, Zheng‐Yuan Xue +1 more

We present a physical scheme for entanglement concentration of atomic entangled states via cavity QED. In our scheme cavity decay and atomic spontaneous emission are taken into consideration, and the atomic qubit is used as stationary qubit and photonic qubit as flying qubit, thus it is more practical to discuss entanglement concentration.

EFFICIENT SCHEME FOR TELEPORTATION OF UNKNOWN ATOMIC STATES USING NON-MAXIMALLY ENTANGLED STATES

Kuangwei Xiong

We propose a feasible scheme for teleporting an unknown atomic state by using non-maximally entangled states in cavity QED. The distinct advantage of the scheme is that, not only can the teleportation and distillation procedure be realized simultaneously, but the scheme is also insensitive to the cavity decay and thermal field with the assistance of a strong classical driving field. In addition, the joint Bell-state measurement can be distinguished via detecting the atomic state.

EFFICIENT TELEPORTATION OF UNKNOWN ATOMIC ENTANGLED STATES

Yan Zhao, Ming Yang, Zhuo‐Liang Cao

We propose a scheme for teleporting unknown atomic entangled states in cavity QED. With the assistance of a strong classical field, the photon number dependent parts in the effective Hamiltonian are canceled. Thus, the scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. In addition, our scheme does not require the Bell-state measurement directly and the success probability can reach 1.0 in our scheme.

ENTANGLEMENT CONCENTRATION AND A QUANTUM REPEATER IN CAVITY QED

Ye Liu, Guang‐Can Guo

A scheme of quantum concentration for unknown atomic entangled states via cavity QED is proposed. During the preparation and the joint measurement of quantum states, the cavity is only virtually excited; thus, the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and the cavity decay. In the meanwhile, our setup also provides a demonstration of a quantum repeater in cavity QED in principle.
