Abstract

We propose a scheme to implement the optimal symmetric 1 → 2 universal quantum telecloning through cavity-assisted interaction. In our scheme, an arbitrary single atomic state can be telecloned to two single atomic states. And three atoms are trapped in three spatially separated cavities respectively. With a particular multiparticle entangled state acting as a quantum information channel and the trapped single atom acting as a quantum network node for its long-lived internal state, quantum information can be telecloned among nodes and can stored in the nodes.

Realization of an economical phase-covariant telecloning in separate cavities

Bao‐Long Fang, Tao Wu, Ye Liu

We present a scheme to realize an economical $1 \to 2$ phase-covariant telecloning in separate cavities. In the scheme, an entangled state between a photon pulse and the tapped atoms will be prepared through cavity-assisted interaction. Next, the Bell state measurement is execute on the photon pulse and a trapped atom or another photon pulse on which the quantum information is encoded. In this way, the system can provide symmetric (asymmetric) economical $1 \to 2$ phase-covariant telecloning.

Realization of a general quantum cloning machine via cavity-assisted interaction

Bao‐Long Fang, Tao Wu, Liu Ye

We present a scheme to realize a general quantum cloning machine via cavity-assisted interaction. First, this scheme can prepare entangled states of three remote trapped atoms including the W state and the GHZ state. Based on this approach, the quantum information carried by a photon pulse or a trapped atom can be copied to other two trapped atoms. According to the known information of the initial state, the equipment can provide the optimal symmetric (asymmetric) universal and phase-covariant quantum cloning. Further, via the cavity input-output process, the quantum cloning can be realized with high fidelity, even if the atom is not localized in the Lamb-Dicke regime.

Practical Protocol for Telecloning Quantum States

Tan Jia, Mao-Fa Fang

We describe a protocol for telecloning a quantum state to M distant users via an ( M +1)-particle W state. In the scheme, two atoms interact simultaneously with a highly detuned cavity mode with the assistance of a classical field. The scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field. Moreover, the Bell-state measurement can be achieved by detecting two atoms separately. Thus telecloning can be realized in a simple way.

Quantum telecloning of an optical coherent state to atomic ensembles

Mingfeng Wang, Yanwei Wang, Mang-Mang Ni +1 more

A scheme for symmetrically telecloning a coherent light state onto two atomic ensembles is proposed. Using the generated multipartite entanglement as the quantum channel, we achieve a fidelity for each clone of F = 0.58 in the case of single feedback, while it is 0.63 for the double feedback case. Furthermore, we also explored the implementation of our scheme with a different quantum channel and find that the optimal fidelity 2/3 can be reached. Atom–atom quantum telecloning is finally studied, showing that only small coupling constants are required for the achievement of high fidelities.

Universal quantum teleflipping and telecloning of qubit

Yan‐Ling Li, Jian Feng, Meng Xiang-Guo +2 more

A scheme combining three processes of quantum teleportation, optimal universal quantum flipping and optimal universal quantum cloning for universal teleflipping and telecloning of arbitrary qubit is proposed. When a particular four-particle entangled state shared by the sender and three spatially separated receivers is used as quantum information channel, after the sender's Bell measurement, class ical communication and each receiver's local unitary operation, one receiver can get one orthogonal complementing state of the original unknown state with the o ptimal fidelity of 2/3, the other two receivers can respectively get one copy of the original unknown state with the optimal fidelity of 5/6. This scheme implem ents the universal quantum teleflipping and telecloning simultaneously with corr esponding optimal fidelity by using the reduced entanglement. The key to realizi ng this scheme is the construction of the particular four-particle entangled sta te shared by the sender and three receivers used as quantum information channel. The entanglement structure of the special four-particle entangled state is anal yzed.

A quantum logic network for implementing optimal symmetric universal and phase-covariant telecloning of a bipartite entangled state

Fanyu Meng, Ai‐Dong Zhu

A quantum logic network to implement quantum telecloning is presented in this paper. The network includes two parts: the first part is used to create the telecloning channel and the second part to teleport the state. It can be used not only to implement universal telecloning for a bipartite entangled state which is completely unknown, but also to implement the phase-covariant telecloning for one that is partially known. Furthermore, the network can also be used to construct a tele-triplicator. It can easily be implemented in experiment because only single- and two-qubit operations are used in the network.
