The existence of antiparticles seems to forbid violations of statistics

I try to prove the impossibility of small violations of Fermi- and Bose-statistics even within the nonlocal quantum field theory corresponding to the infinite statistics. The existence of antiparticles plays the crucial role in this proof.

DOES THE EXISTENCE OF ANTIPARTICLES FORBID VIOLATIONS OF STATISTICS?

We consider a field theory based on the bilinear q-mutator relations and continuously transforming into the usual theory. For the free fields we show that the violations of usual (Fermi- or Bose-) statistics even within this "slightly" nonlocal theory are incompatible with the existence of antiparticles and the positive definiteness of norms of the state vectors in the Fock representation.

A topological spin-statistics theorem or a use of the antiparticle

A. P. Balachandran, Alan Daughton, Zixuan Gu +3 more

A spin-statistics theorem for spinning particles in d is proved without using relativity or field theory, but assuming the existence of antiparticles. The theorem excludes nonabelian statistics such as parastatistics of order 2 and more for d ⩾ 3 and statistics based on nonabelian representations of the braid groups for d = 2.
