Abstract

We present an approach for implementation of a $1\ensuremath{\rightarrow}3$ orbital state quantum cloning machine based on the quantum Zeno dynamics via manipulating three rf superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) qubits to resonantly interact with a superconducting cavity assisted by classical fields. Through appropriate modulation of the coupling constants between rf SQUIDs and classical fields, the quantum cloning machine can be realized within one step. We also discuss the effects of decoherence such as spontaneous emission and the loss of cavity in virtue of master equation. The numerical simulation result reveals that the quantum cloning machine is especially robust against the cavity decay, since all qubits evolve in the decoherence-free subspace with respect to cavity decay due to the quantum Zeno dynamics.

Fast implementation of the 1 → 3 orbital state quantum cloning machine

Jin‐Zhong Lin

Abstract We present a scheme to implement a 1 → 3 orbital state quantum cloning machine assisted by quantum Zeno dynamics. By constructing shortcuts to adiabatic passage with transitionless quantum driving, we can complete this scheme effectively and quickly in one step. The effects of decoherence, including spontaneous emission and the decay of the cavity, are also discussed. The numerical simulation results show that high fidelity can be obtained and the feasibility analysis indicates that this can also be realized in experiments.

We present a scheme for implementing a three-qubit phase gate via manipulating rf superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) qubits in the decoherence-free subspace with respect to cavity decay. Through appropriate changes of the coupling constants between rf SQUIDs and cavity, the scheme can be realized only in one step. A high fidelity is obtained even in the presence of decoherence.

Physical Realization of Probabilistic Cloning Machines of Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices in Cavity QED

朱艳 ZHU Yan, 顾永建 GU Yong-jian, 徐舟 XU Zhou +2 more

A scheme is proposed for the physical realization of a quantum probabilistic cloning machine.First, with two superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) embedded in a high-Q cavity used as the original and target qubits respectively, and the cavity field as the measurement qubit, the unitary evolution required for the cloning machines is realized through multiple interactions of SQUID with the cavity or classical microwave pulses. Then the state reduction is implemented by mapping the cavity state onto another SQUID and measuring the magnetic flux of the SQUID,thus realizing the exact cloning of quantum states with optimal success probability. In this scheme, two–photon Raman resonance process is used to increase the single qubit operation rate, and the total operation time is far less the time of spontaneous decay and cavity decay. Therefore this scheme is experimentally feasible.

Implementation of Phase-covariant Quantum Cloning with Superconducting Quantum-interference Devices in Cavity QED

We propose two schemes for realizing 1→2 economical phase-covariant quantum cloning with superconducting quantum-interference devices(SQUID) in cavity QED.In our schemes, the SQUIDs with three levels act with a quantized cavity field and classical microwave pluses via Raman transition. On the condition of large detuning, the excited state would be eliminated adiabaticly.During the whole operation, the cavity field is in the vacuum state at all times,so there is no transfer of quantum information between the SQUIDs and cavity, thus the cavity decay is largely suppressed.By using this method,we can realize the phase-covariant quantum cloning by four steps.

We present a scheme to implement a quantum cloning machine which copies a state near a given one with superconducting quantum-interference device(SQUID) embedded in a high-Q cavity. The controlled-NOT operations derived in our scheme are indispensable for the preparation of this cloning machine, which can be implemented by adjusting the interaction between the SQUID and the microwave cavity.Due to the technology of SQUID can be easily implemented in current experiment, our scheme also can be realized in experiment.

Implementing an ancilla-free 1→M economical phase-covariant quantum cloning machine with superconducting quantum-interference devices in cavity QED

We propose a simple scheme to realize $1\ensuremath{\rightarrow}M$ economical phase-covariant quantum cloning machine (EPQCM) with superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) qubits. In our scheme, multi-SQUIDs are fixed into a microwave cavity by adiabatic passage for their manipulation. Based on this model, we can realize the EPQCM with high fidelity via adiabatic quantum computation.
