Abstract

We use the Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen pairs as the quantum channel and adopt the adaptive measurement strategy to allow M > 1 separate parties to cooperatively prepare an arbitrary two-qubit state for a remote receiver, without leakage of the state's full information. Our protocol is flexible and convenient in the sense that the receiver can be assigned even after the distribution of the qubits of the shared quantum channel and once assigned he/she only needs to perform a simple recovery operation. In addition, our protocol always succeeds and is applicable to a certain realistic situation for which other protocols are not suited.

Deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary three-qubit state via Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen pairs with a passive receiver

Yan Xia, Qing-Qin Chen, Nguyen Ba An

In this work, a useful protocol for deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary three-qubit state using only Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen pairs is put forward. Our protocol, in clear contrast with a previous one, works for a receiver who, due to limited local equipments, is unable to carry out any measurements and controlled-NOT gates as well as to send classical communication. Therefore, the practical merit of our protocol is that it is applicable to situations in which the receiver has insufficient resource to meet the demand.

FLEXIBLE DETERMINISTIC JOINT REMOTE STATE PREPARATION OF SOME STATES

Peng Jia-yin, MING-XING LUO, Zhiwen Mo +1 more

We provide a new joint remote preparation scheme for some states. By designing some appropriate measurement bases, two separate parties can jointly prepare a three-qubit state for a remote receiver. The receiver may be assigned during the remote preparation progress. This scheme is extended to M > 2 senders for special two-qubit state. Our scheme succeeds with unit probability and is applicable to a certain realistic situation.

New Deterministic Protocol for Joint Remote Preparation of Two-qubit States

Nung Van Don, Nguyen Ba An, Cao Thi Bich

Designing quantum protocols with unit success probability is highly desirable from a viewpoint of the overall resource cost. In this work, we propose a new deterministic protocol for joint remote preparation of the most general two-qubit state using the same quantum/classical resource as in [An et al., Phys. Lett. A {\bf 375} (2011) 3570] and, at the same time, retaining the passive role of the receiver as in [Xiao et al., J. Phys. B: At. Mol. Opt. Phys. {\bf 44} (2011) 075501], which employs a different kind of nonlocal resource. From a practical point of view, this protocol proves most suitable in situations when only Einstein- Podelsky-Rosen pairs are supplied and the receiver is not capable of performing any measurements nor controlled-NOT gates.

Deterministic joint remote state preparation of arbitrary two- and three-qubit states

Yuan Wang, Xin Ji

We propose a novel deterministic protocol that two senders are capable of remotely preparing arbitrary two- and three-qubit states for a remote receiver using EPR pairs and GHZ state as the quantum channel. Compared with the existing deterministic protocols [An et al . 2011 Phys. Lett . A 375 3570 and Chen et al . 2012 J. Phys . A: Math. Theor . 45 055303 ], the quantum resources and classical information in our scheme are decreased, and the whole operation process is simplified.

Deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary three-qubit state via EPR pairs

Qing-Qin Chen, Yan Xia, Jie Song

A proposal, using six Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen pairs as the shared quantum resource, focuses on realizing the deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary three-qubit state. With the right measurement bases and a series of proper Pauli operators, the state that we intend to joint remotely prepare is deemed to be obtained deterministically.
