The Wehrl classical information entropy of random phase negative binomial states (RPNBS) is investigated, and their Wigner function evolution in the thermal environment is also discussed. It is shown that the evolution of the RPNBS in the thermal channel can be roughly regarded as the shift of the parameters ε and α0 of the RPNBS.
Using the thermal-entangled state representation and the operator-ordering method, we investigate Wigner function (WF) for the squeezed negative binomial state (SNBS) and the analytical evolution law of density operator in the amplitude decay channel. The results show that the analytical WF is related to the square of the module of single-variable Hermite polynomials, which leads to a new two-variable special function and its generating function, and the parameters s and γ play opposite roles in the WF distributions. Besides, after undergoing this channel, the initial pure SNBS evolves into a new mixed state related to two operator Hermite polynomials within normal ordering, and fully loses its nonclassicality and decays to vacuum at long decay time.
The mean parity (the Wigner function at the origin) of excited binomial states, excited coherent states and excited thermal states in thermal channel is investigated in details. It is found that the single-photon excited binomial state and the single-photon excited coherent state exhibit certain similarity in the aspect of their mean parity in the thermal channel. We show the negative mean parity can be regarded as an indicator of nonclassicality of single-photon excitation of optical fields with a little coherence, especially for the single-photon excited thermal states.
We present the s-parametrized quasiprobability distributions for the negative binomial states. Marked changes in the quasiprobability distributions W(\ensuremath{\alpha},\ensuremath{\epsilon},s) are exhibited by states that are close to the random-phase coherent state (\ensuremath{\epsilon}=0), as the parameter s is varied continuously from s=-1, corresponding to the Q function, to s=1, corresponding to the P function. However, states close to the thermal-noise state (\ensuremath{\epsilon}=1) exhibit the usual Gaussian-like distributions for all values of s.
Objective: The study was conducted to estimate the nonlocal correlation between a single qubit and radiation field initially considered in the excited and nonlinear binomial distribution. Material and method: Explicit forms of the excited and nonlinear binomial states are presented. We investigate the dynamical properties of Wehrl entropy as an indicator of the statistical properties of the radiation field during the time evolution. The non-classicality of the field based on the evolution of Mandel parameter also discussed Results: Results of our study show that the Wehrl entropy, qubit-field entanglement and Mandel parameter at the periodic time are an opposite monotonic behavior. Also, a high amount of the entanglement is reached for a high value of deformation parameter. Finally the statistical properties of the field is Poissonian or sub-Poissonian photon distribution. Conclusion: It is concluded from the study that the Wehrl entropy and Mandel parameter were a good indications of the statistical and dynamical properties of the field during the interaction time.
