Abstract

We present an S-matrix, a solution of the braid relation. A matrix representation of specialized Birman-Wenzl-Murakami algebra is obtained. Based on which, a unitary [Formula: see text]-matrix is generated via the Yang-Baxterization approach. Then we construct a Yang-Baxter Hamiltonian through the unitary [Formula: see text]-matrix. Berry phase of this Yang-Baxter system is investigated in detail.

Lidan Gou, Kang Xue, Gangcheng Wang

We present a 9 × 9 S-matrix and E-matrix. A representation of specialized Birman—Wenzl—Murakami algebra is obtained. Starting from the given braid group representation S-matrix, we obtain the trigonometric solution of Yang-Baxter equation. A unitary matrix Ř(x, ϕ 1 ,ϕ 2 ) is generated via the Yang—Baxterization approach. Then we construct a Yang—Baxter Hamiltonian through the unitary matrix Ř(x, ϕ 1 ,ϕ 2 ). Berry phase of this Yang—Baxter system is investigated in detail.

Berry phase and entanglement of three qubits in a new Yang–Baxter system

Taotao Hu, Kang Xue, Chunfeng Wu

In this paper we construct a new 8×8 M matrix from the 4×4 M matrix, where M/M is the image of the braid group representation. The 8×8 M matrix and the 4×4 M matrix both satisfy extraspecial 2-group algebra relations. By Yang–Baxteration approach, we derive a unitary R̆(θ,φ) matrix from the M matrix with parameters φ and θ. Three-qubit entangled states can be generated by using the R̆(θ,φ) matrix. A Hamiltonian for three qubits is constructed from the unitary R̆(θ,φ) matrix. We then study the entanglement and Berry phase of the Yang–Baxter system.

TAOTAO HU, GANGCHENG WANG, CHUNFANG SUN +3 more

In this paper, we present reducible representation of the n2 braid group representation which is constructed on the tensor product of n-dimensional spaces. Specifically, it is shown that via a combining method, we can construct more n2 dimensional braiding S-matrices which satisfy the braid relations. By Yang–Baxterization approach, we derive a 9 × 9 unitary [Formula: see text]-matrix according to a 9 × 9 braiding S-matrix we have constructed. The entanglement properties of [Formula: see text]-matrix is investigated, and the arbitrary degree of entanglement for two-qutrit entangled states can be generated via [Formula: see text]-matrix acting on the standard basis.

Entanglement and Berry Phase in a $9\times 9$ Yang-Baxter system

Chunfang Sun, Gangcheng Wang, Kang Xue

A M-matrix which satisfies the Hecke algebraic relations is presented. Via the Yang-Baxterization approach, we obtain a unitary solution $\breve{R}(θ,φ_{1},φ_{2})$ of Yang-Baxter Equation. It is shown that any pure two-qutrit entangled states can be generated via the universal $\breve{R}$-matrix assisted by local unitary transformations. A Hamiltonian is constructed from the $\breve{R}$-matrix, and Berry phase of the Yang-Baxter system is investigated. Specifically, for $ φ_{1}=φ_{2}$, the Hamiltonian can be represented based on three sets of SU(2) operators, and three oscillator Hamiltonians can be obtained. Under this framework, the Berry phase can be interpreted.

YANG–BAXTER EQUATIONS IN QUANTUM INFORMATION

Mo‐Lin Ge, Kang Xue

The connection between Yang–Baxter system and quantum information has been discussed. Based on the topological basis for both Temperley–Lieb (TL) algebra and Birman–Wenzl (BW) algebra the representations of N by N braiding matrices associated with the corresponding N2 by N2 ones are obtained. Some of physical consequences of the braiding matrices connecting with quantum information are shown.

THE REPRESENTATIONS OF TEMPERLEY-LIEB ALGEBRA AND ENTANGLEMENT IN A YANG-BAXTER SYSTEM

Chunfang Sun, Gangcheng Wang, Taotao Hu +3 more

A method of constructing Temperley-Lieb algebra (TLA) representations has been introduced in [Xue et al. arXiv:0903.3711]. Using this method, we can obtain another series of n2 × n2 matrices U which satisfy the TLA with the single loop [Formula: see text]. Specifically, we present a 9 × 9 matrix U with [Formula: see text]. Via Yang-Baxterization approach, we obtain a unitary [Formula: see text]-matrix, a solution of the Yang-Baxter equation. This 9 × 9 Yang-Baxter matrix is universal for quantum computing.

Entanglement and Berry Phase in a 9×99\times 99×9 Yang-Baxter system
A M-matrix which satisfies the Hecke algebraic relations is presented. Via the Yang-Baxterization approach, we obtain a unitary solution R˘(θ,φ1,φ2)\breve{R}(θ,φ_{1},φ_{2})R˘(θ,φ1,φ2) of Yang-Baxter Equation. It is shown that any pure two-qutrit entangled states can be generated via the universal R˘\breve{R}R˘-matrix assisted by local unitary transformations. A Hamiltonian is constructed from the R˘\breve{R}R˘-matrix, and Berry phase of the Yang-Baxter system is investigated. Specifically, for $ φ_{1}=φ_{2}$, the Hamiltonian can be represented based on three sets of SU(2) operators, and three oscillator Hamiltonians can be obtained. Under this framework, the Berry phase can be interpreted.
