New integrable model of correlated electrons with off-diagonal long-range order fromso(5) symmetry

Angela Foerster, Jon Links, I. Roditi

We present a new integrable model for correlated electrons which is based on so (5) symmetry. By using an -pairing realization we construct eigenstates of the Hamiltonian with off-diagonal long-range order. It is also shown that these states lie in the ground state sector. We exactly solve the model on a one-dimensional lattice by the Bethe ansatz.

New Types of Off-Diagonal Long Range Order in Quantum Spin Chains

J. C. Talstra, Steven P. Strong, P. W. Anderson

We discuss new possibilities for off-diagonal long range order (ODLRO) in spin chains involving operators which add or delete sites from the chain. For the one-dimensional, periodic Heisenberg, inverse square exchange, and $\mathrm{XY}$ models we give numerical evidence for the hidden ODLRO conjectured by Anderson. A connection to the singlet pair correlations in one-dimensional models of interacting electrons is made and briefly discussed.
