ON THE SCHRÖDINGER EQUATION WITH TIME AND ITS SQUARE ROOT REPRESENTATION IN THE SUPERSYMMETRIC QUANTUM MECHANICS

Abstract

In the present work we obtain the N=2 superconformal version of quantum mechanics with time considered as dynamical on an equal footing with other variables. The resulting supersymmetric system of constraints realizes the square root representation of the Schrödinger equation with time.

THE HAMILTON – JACOBI TREATMENT OF SUPERSYMMETRIC QUANTUM MECHANICS

Dumitru Bǎleanu, Yurdahan Güler

We study the Hamilton–Jacobi quantization of supersymmetric quantum mechanics. The equations of motion of the Grassmann variables are obtained from the integrability conditions. The results are in agreement with those obtained by Dirac's procedure.

The Time as an Observable in Quantum Mechanics

Taku Goto, S. Naka, K. Yamaguchi

Following homogeneous canonical formalism where the time is treated on an equal footing with the space coordinates, we propose an alternative formulation of quantum mechanics in which the time is considered as a dynamical variable. The basic equation corresponding to and being equivalent to the ordinary Schrödinger equation is obtained when we consider the space coordinates x as a parameter corresponding to the time t in the ordinary formulation. The formal solution of this equation is given and examined. By making use of this solution the scattering theory is formulated in our formalism. It is shown that observables corresponding to the time and space coordinates can be defined. A short comment on the energy-time uncertainty relation is also given.

Time Independent Schrodinger Type Equation

Francesco R. Ruggeri

In this note, we wish to consider a derivation of sorts of time independent Schrodinger type equations from general principles related to a function which is the square root of a density. This derivation is not aimed at quantum mechanics, in fact it is classical, yet it appears to apply to quantum mechanics and the oscillator potential of statistical mechanics and not to the 1/v(x) density of classical mechanics. We try to consider the reason for this.

Supersymmetric quantum mechanics defined as sesquilinear forms

Harald Grosse, L. Pittner

A formulation of supersymmetric quantum mechanics in terms of sesquilinear forms is presented. Otherwise occurring rather complicated domain questions are solved in a simple and natural way. The authors formulate the axioms and describe a number of models. Supersymmetry transformations are implemented as superunitary transformations in a space defined over a Grassmann algebra, generalised Bogoliubov transformations acting in that space are also formulated.

Formulation of quantum mechanics with dynamical time

М. Г. Иванов

We consider quantum mechanics for which the system time is one of generalized coordinates. The generalized Hamiltonian has an unbounded spectrum, which allows us to introduce a Hermitian time operator. In the proposed formulation of quantum mechanics, a system time and observer’s time are introduced. The Schrödinger equation in the system time either does not hold or holds only approximately. The wave function is assumed to be square integrable with respect to all coordinates, including the system time. In some limit, this formalism reproduces standard quantum mechanics and the corresponding measurement theory.
