Abstract

The security of the previous quantum key distribution protocols, which is guaranteed by the laws of quantum physics, is based on legitimate users. However, impersonation of the legitimate communicators by eavesdroppers, in practice, will be inevitable. In this paper, we proposed a quantum key verification scheme, which can simultaneously distribute the quantum secret key and verify the communicators' identity. Investigation shows that this proposed identity verification scheme is secure.

Quantum key distribution with authentication

Guihua Zeng, Xinmei Wang

The security of the previous quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols, which is guaranteed by the nature of physics law, is based on the legitimate users. However, impersonation of the legitimate communicators by eavesdroppers, in practice, will be inevitable. In fact, the previous QKD protocols is unsecure without authentication in practical communication. In this paper, we proposed an improved QKD protocol that can simultaneously distribute the quantum secret key and verify the communicators' identity. This presented authentication scheme is provably secure.

Improvement of quantum key distribution protocols

Guihua Zeng

The security of the previous quantum key distribution protocols, which is guaranteed by the nature of physics law, is based on the legitimate users. However, the impersonation of Alice or Bob by eavesdropper, in practice. will be existed in a large probability. In this paper an improvement scheme for the security quantum key is proposed.

A quantum key verification scheme based on the BB84 protocal is proposed. The scheme can simultaneously distribute the quantum secret key and verify the communicators' identity. We also present a novel method for producing raw sharing key.

Quantum identity authentication based on secret transmitting order of particles

Shan-shan Huang, Jun Li, Yue Li +1 more

A secure quantum identity authentication protocol by employing the mechanism of the secret transmitting order scheme via the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pairs is proposed. With the help of a certificated authority, two legitimate users can faithfully accomplish the authentication and distribute the quantum key simultaneously. Investigation on security of our protocol is also provided which shows the protocol remains robust when confronted with series typical individual attacks. During the protocol, no local operation and classical communication is applied.

Simultaneous Initiating EPR and Quantum Channel by Quantum Key Distribution Protocol

Abdulbast A. Abushgra, Khaled M. Elleithy

Cryptography is the background of protecting the flowed information between various communicated parties. Quantum cryptography gives the extreme trust to transferred information by creating a unique secret key that is based upon the law of physics. This paper will discuss a novel algorithm that is presented through quantum key distribution (QKD) protocol. This QKD protocol depends on parallel quantum communications between participants within EPR and quantum channels. The proposed protocol utilizes the EPR channel to prove the authentication while the quantum channel to transfer the shared key. Moreover, the proposed protocol initiates the verification of the participant’s identity between the communicators by the EPR channel. After that the transferred data into quantum channel will create the secret key that contains a string of qubits as well as no need to communicate into classical channel.

Secure Communication Using Two Party Authenticated Quantum key Distribution Protocols

S. Venkatramulu, S. Veena

This work presents quantum key distribution protocols (QKDPs) to safeguard security in large networks, efficiency is improved as the proposed protocols contain the fewest number of communication rounds and two parties can share and use a long-term secret Key. Quantum cryptography is basically based on a trusted channel in communication between two parties compared to classical channel. Recently, Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) has become more secure transmission method used to transmit secret key between two legitimate parties. This paper discusses the implementation of (QKD) protocol with the existence of an eavesdropper. The implementation simulates the communication of two parties who wish to share a secret key with the existing of eavesdropper. The existing of eavesdropper is simulated with two kinds of attacks, which is used as parameter to measure the length of final key agreed by both authenticated parties at the end of the communication.
