SCHEME FOR IMPLEMENTING QUANTUM DENSE CODING USING MULTI-ATOM IN CAVITY QED

Abstract

We propose an experimentally feasible scheme for implementing quantum dense coding in cavity QED. In this scheme, the multi-atoms interact simultaneously with a highly detuned cavity mode, and are driven by a strong classical field. The scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field. Only one interaction between atoms and cavity is required. Multi-atom's GHZ-states can be exactly distinguished via detecting the atomic state, and the quantum dense coding can be realized in a simple way.

A SCHEME FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF DENSE CODING WITH W-CLASS STATES IN CAVITY QED

Liu Ye, Juan He

An experimentally feasible scheme for implementing quantum dense coding in cavity QED is proposed. In the scheme a W-class state can first be prepared by letting the atoms interact simultaneously with a highly detuned cavity mode. Then the states coded on this W-class state can be exactly distinguished by detecting atomic states. The scheme is insensitive to the cavity field, and the quantum dense coding can be realized in a simple way.

Scheme for Implementing Controlled Dense Coding with Six-Atom Cluster State in Cavity QED

Yuanhua Li, Cuicui Li, Xianping Wang +2 more

We propose an experimentally feasible protocol for implementing controlled dense coding with a six-atom cluster state in cavity QED. In the scheme, we investigate that the atoms interact simultaneously with the highly detuned single-mode cavity and the strong classical driving field, and thus our scheme is not sensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. In addition, the four-atom entangled states can be exactly distinguished by performing the single-atom measurements in cavity QED, therefore our scheme might be implemented in a simple way.

A simple scheme for implementing four-atom quantum dense coding in cavity QED

Zheng Xiao-Juan, Hui Xu, Mao-Fa Fang +1 more

An experimentally feasible scheme for implementing four-atom quantum dense coding of an atom–cavity system is proposed. The cavity is only virtually excited and no quantum information will be transferred from the atoms to the cavity. Thus the scheme is insensitive to cavity decay and the thermal field. In the scheme, Alice can send faithfully 4 bits of classical information to Bob by sending two qubits. Generalized Bell states can be exactly distinguished by detecting the atomic state, and quantum dense coding can be realized in a simple way.

Protocol for multi-party superdense coding by using multi-atom in cavity QED

Tan Jia, Mao-Fa Fang

We present a protocol for multi-party superdense coding by using multi-atom in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). It is shown that, with a highly detuned cavity mode and a strong driving field, the protocol is insensitive to both cavity decay and thermal field. It is even certain to identify GHZ states via detecting the atomic states. Therefore we can realize the quantum dense coding in a simple way in the multiparty system.

A Feasible Scheme for Teleportation of Multi-atom Cat-like States in Thermal Cavities

Xin-Wen Wang, Liu Xiang

An experimentally feasible scheme for implementing teleportation of multi-atom cat-like states in cavity QED is proposed. In the scheme the atoms interact simultaneously with a highly detuned cavity mode and are driven by a strong classical field, and the atomic state evolution is independent of cavity field state. Thus the scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field, which is of importance from the experimental point of view. All the orthogonal and complete multi-atom GHZ states can be exactly distinguished only by one step, so our scheme can also be used for other purposes such as dense coding using multi-atom GHZ states as quantum channels.
