Abstract

We suggest a simple method to teleport an unknown superposition of the atomic internal state of a two-level atom onto transverse atomic momenta of another atom during its flight. The scheme relies on the standard cavity QED techniques and is inherently deterministic with sufficiently high fidelity for the teleported state. It is further shown that the procedure can be straightforwardly extended to remotely tune in the probability amplitudes of any atomic momenta multipartite entangled state.

Cavity‐Assisted Atomic External Momenta State Teleportation

Liaqat Ali, Murad Ahmad, Rameez‐ul‐Islam +3 more

Abstract The quantized momentum eigenstates of neutral atoms offer high resistance to decoherence and thus suggests a viable alternative for quantum informatics tasks including teleportation. In this work, a scheme is suggested to teleport an unknown superposition of two distinct external momentum states of a neutral atom onto the similar momentum states of a distant atom at the receiving end through the off‐resonant atomic Bragg diffraction (ABD). In order to teleport this unknown state from the sender, that is, Alice, to the receiver, that is, Bob, a pre‐existing entangled link formed through a high‐Q cavity at Alice's end and momentum states of a neutral atom at the Bob's end are utilized. Further, while citing the realistic experimental parameters, it is demonstrated that the proposal can easily be implemented experimentally under the prevailing cavity‐QED atom‐field research scenario. The proposal is also generalized to cover the teleportation of the multipartite entangled momenta states and the case of multipartite GHZ entangled states is elucidated in details. However, the procedure is generic and can be extended to cover the teleportation schematics for any arbitrary atomic momenta states.

Scheme for Deterministic and Multi-controlled Teleportation of an Arbitrary Two-atom State in Cavity QED

Lin Suan-zhi

A simple scheme for deterministic and multi-controlled teleportation of an arbitrary unknown state for two-level atoms with a cavity QED system is proposed. In the scheme, the special entangled W states used as quantum channels and the requisite unitary transformations may be achieved via a single resonant interaction of the atoms with a cavity mode, respectively. The required time to complete the whole procedure does not increase with the number of agents.

Teleportation of atomic states via position measurements

Michele Tumminello, Francesco Ciccarello

We present a scheme for conditionally teleporting an unknown atomic state in cavity QED, which requires two atoms and one cavity mode. The translational degrees of freedom of the atoms are taken into account using the optical Stern-Gerlach model. We show that successful teleportation with probability 1/2 can be achieved through local measurements of the cavity photon number and atomic positions. Neither direct projection onto highly entangled states nor holonomous interaction-time constraints are required.

Faithful Teleportation of an Unknown Atomic-Entangled State Without Bell-State Measurement

Lin Xiu, Hongcai Li, Rong‐Can Yang +1 more

An alternative scheme is proposed for teleportation of an unknown atomic-entangled state. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of a two-mode cavity field with a Λ-type three-level atom. In contrast with the previously proposed scheme of [Commun. Theor. Phys. 47 (2007) 253], the present scheme is ascendant, since the fidelity is 1.0 in principle similarly without the Bell-state measurement. The scheme may be generalized to not only the teleportation of the cavity-mode-entangled-state but also the teleportation of the multi-atomic entangled states included in generalized GHZ states. And the scheme is experimentally feasible based on the current cavity QED technique.

Teleportation of an unknown atomic state in cavity QED

Ma Song-She

A scheme is proposed for teleportation of an unknown atomic state based on the nonresonant interaction of two coupled two-level atoms with a single-mode cavity field. The scheme only requires the cavity field to be in a coherent state. After the interaction between the atoms and the cavity, the cavity is left in a coherent state.By detecting the states of atoms,an unknown atomic state is teleported. The scheme can also be used to teleport an unknown atomic entangled state.

Teleportation of a two-atom entangled state with a thermal cavity

We present a scheme to teleport an unknown atomic entangled state in driven cavity QED. In our scheme, the success probability can reach 1.0. In addition, the scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field.
