Abstract

We resolve the ladder operators normal ordering problem for strings in the form for ( q , p )-deformed supersymmetric and shape-invariant potential systems, where n is a positive integer. We provide exact and explicit expressions for their normal form , where in all are at the right-hand side, and find that the solution involves expansion-coefficients sequence which corresponds to the generalization, for any ( q , p )-deformed shape-invariant potential system, of the classical Stirling and Bell numbers. We show that these numbers are given for expressions depending on parameters related to the forms of supersymmetric partner potentials and the system quantum deformation. We apply the general formalism to Pöschl–Teller, Morse and Scarf potential systems.

Normal ordering for nonlinear deformed ladder operators and the f-generalization of the Stirling and Bell numbers

A N F Aleixo, A. B. Balantekin

We resolve the normal ordering problem for symmetric (Dˆ+Dˆ−)n and asymmetric (Dˆ+rDˆ−)n strings of the nonlinear deformed ladder operators Dˆ± for supersymmetric and shape-invariant potential systems, where r and n are positive integers. We provide exact and explicit expressions for their normal forms N{(Dˆ+Dˆ−)n} and N{(Dˆ+rDˆ−)n}, where in N{...} all Dˆ− are at the right side. We find that the solutions involve sequence of expansion coefficients which, for r, n > 1, corresponds to the f-deformed generalization of the classical Stirling and Bell numbers of the second kind. We apply the general formalism for the translational shape-invariant potential systems as well as for the particular case of the harmonic oscillator potential system. We show that these numbers are obtained for families of polynomial expressions generated with the deformations parameters and the parameters related to the forms of the supersymmetric partner potentials.

An algebraicq-deformed form for shape-invariant systems

A N F Aleixo, A. B. Balantekin, M A Cândido Ribeiro

A quantum deformed theory applicable to all shape-invariant bound-state systems is introduced by defining q -deformed ladder operators. We show that these new ladder operators satisfy new q -deformed commutation relations. In this context we construct an alternative q -deformed model that preserves the shape-invariance property presented by the primary system. q -deformed generalizations of Morse, Scarf and Coulomb potentials are given as examples.

Purely squeezed states for quantum deformed systems

A N F Aleixo, A. B. Balantekin

The generalized purely squeezed states for primary shape-invariant potentials systems, quantum deformed by different models, are constructed by the ladder-operator method within an algebraic approach based on supersymmetric quantum mechanics. The characteristic properties of these states as well as their quantum statistical properties and squeezing effects for generalized quadrature observables are studied and analyzed in terms of the quantum deformation parameter q. An application is given for a quantum deformed Pöschl–Teller potential system, and numerical results are presented and discussed in detail.

An algebraic construction of generalized coherent states associated withq-deformed models for primary shape-invariant systems

A N F Aleixo, A. B. Balantekin

Generalized coherent states for primary shape invariant potential systems quantum deformed by different models are constructed using an algebraic approach based on supersymmetric quantum mechanics. We show that this generalized formalism is able (a) to supply the essential requirements necessary to establish a connection between classical and quantum formulations of a given system, (b) to reproduce, as particular cases, results already known for shape-invariant systems (such as standard harmonic oscillator and Pöschl–Teller potentials as well as quantum deformed harmonic oscillator models) and (c) point to a formalism that provides a unified description of the different kind of coherent states for quantum systems, deformed or not deformed.

Normal ordering for deformed boson operators and operator-valued deformed Stirling numbers

J Katriel, M. Kibler

The normal ordering formulae for powers of the boson number operator n are extended to deformed bosons. It is found that for the 'M-type' deformed bosons, which satisfy aa Dagger -qa Dagger a=1, the extension involves a set of deformed Stirling numbers which replace the Stirling numbers occurring in the conventional case. On the other hand, the deformed Stirling numbers which have to be introduced in the case of the 'P-type' deformed bosons, which satisfy aa Dagger -qa Dagger a=q -n are found to depend on the operator n. This distinction between the two types of deformed bosons is in harmony with earlier observations made in the context of a study of the extended Campbell-Baker-Hausdorff formula.

A bosonized formulation of the supersymmetric quantum mechanics for shape-invariant potential systems

A N F Aleixo, A. B. Balantekin

We consider the minimal bosonization realization of supersymmetric shape-invariant systems where generalized supercharge operators are constructed using the partner supersymmetric operators, the parameter potential translation formalism and the reflection operator. We obtain the solution of the eigenvalue equation and study the quantum dynamics of the supersymmetric system including terms in the Hamiltonian which are constructed using the combination of the bosonized supercharge operators. The connections between the bosonized supersymmetric formalism, the Bose–Fermi transformation and the generalization of the -deformed Heisenberg algebra are discussed. As an illustration, we apply the generalized formalism for the case of the trigonometric Rosen–Morse potential.
