Abstract

Generalized coherent states for primary shape invariant potential systems quantum deformed by different models are constructed using an algebraic approach based on supersymmetric quantum mechanics. We show that this generalized formalism is able (a) to supply the essential requirements necessary to establish a connection between classical and quantum formulations of a given system, (b) to reproduce, as particular cases, results already known for shape-invariant systems (such as standard harmonic oscillator and Pöschl–Teller potentials as well as quantum deformed harmonic oscillator models) and (c) point to a formalism that provides a unified description of the different kind of coherent states for quantum systems, deformed or not deformed.

An Algebraic Construction of Generalized Coherent States for Shape-Invariant Potentials

Generalized coherent states for shape invariant potentials are constructed using an algebraic approach based on supersymmetric quantum mechanics. We show this generalized formalism is able to: a) supply the essential requirements necessary to establish a connection between classical and quantum formulations of a given system (continuity of labeling, resolution of unity, temporal stability, and action identity); b) reproduce results already known for shape-invariant systems, like harmonic oscillator, double anharmonic, Poschl-Teller and self-similar potentials and; c) point to a formalism that provides an unified description of the different kind of coherent states for quantum systems.

Purely squeezed states for quantum deformed systems

A N F Aleixo, A. B. Balantekin

The generalized purely squeezed states for primary shape-invariant potentials systems, quantum deformed by different models, are constructed by the ladder-operator method within an algebraic approach based on supersymmetric quantum mechanics. The characteristic properties of these states as well as their quantum statistical properties and squeezing effects for generalized quadrature observables are studied and analyzed in terms of the quantum deformation parameter q. An application is given for a quantum deformed Pöschl–Teller potential system, and numerical results are presented and discussed in detail.

Generalized Robertson intelligent states and squeezing for supersymmetric and shape-invariant systems: an algebraic construction

A N F Aleixo, A. B. Balantekin

We obtain the Robertson–Schrödinger uncertainty relation for shape-invariant systems and construct generalized Robertson intelligent states for these systems using an algebraic approach based on the supersymmetric quantum mechanics. Using the variances of generalized quadrature operators we study the coherency and squeezing properties, evaluating their dependence on different kinds of generalizations for shape-invariant systems with potential parameters related by a translation (Pöschl–Teller potential) and by a scaling (self-similar potential).

A bosonized formulation of the supersymmetric quantum mechanics for shape-invariant potential systems

A N F Aleixo, A. B. Balantekin

We consider the minimal bosonization realization of supersymmetric shape-invariant systems where generalized supercharge operators are constructed using the partner supersymmetric operators, the parameter potential translation formalism and the reflection operator. We obtain the solution of the eigenvalue equation and study the quantum dynamics of the supersymmetric system including terms in the Hamiltonian which are constructed using the combination of the bosonized supercharge operators. The connections between the bosonized supersymmetric formalism, the Bose–Fermi transformation and the generalization of the -deformed Heisenberg algebra are discussed. As an illustration, we apply the generalized formalism for the case of the trigonometric Rosen–Morse potential.

Multiparameter deformation theory for quantum confined systems

A N F Aleixo, A. B. Balantekin

We introduce a generalized multiparameter deformation theory applicable to all supersymmetric and shape-invariant systems. Taking particular choices for the deformation factors used in the construction of the deformed ladder operators, we show that we can generalize the one-parameter quantum-deformed harmonic oscillator models and build alternative multiparameter deformed models that are also shape invariant like the primary undeformed system.
