Abstract

We consider the irreversible dynamics of two two-level atoms that interact with a bipartite broad-band electromagnetic field in an entangled state that forms a heat bath with a quantum correlation. Using Ito’s stochastic integration technique, we have derived a kinetic equation for atoms and found their steady state, which turns out to be inseparable and leads to a violation of Bell’s inequalities. The application of the atomic state found as a quantum channel for teleportation is considered. We have calculated the channel quality or fidelity that determines the possibilities for using the channel, in particular, characterizes its security. The process of teleportation by means of a quantum channel formed by an entangled heat bath is considered. Comparison of two (atomic and light) channels has shown that they have different properties with regard to separability and identical properties with regard to nonlocality. This means that nonlocality can be completely transferred from light to atoms.

Transformation of quantum correlations between systems of different physical nature

В. Н. Горбачев, Andrew I. Trubilko

Using the general equation for two independent two-level atoms in a broadband two-component entangled bath, the problem of transforming quantum correlations from light to atoms is considered. To identify the transfer of inseparability, it is proposed to choose an adequate observable. Finally, we consider the average fidelity, which is a characteristic of the channel in the teleportation process.

Transmission of quantum correlations of light into atoms

В. Н. Горбачев, Andrew I. Trubilko

The interaction between two broadband modes of a parametric source of light and two atoms located at different positions has been considered. As follows from the obtained Bell inequalities for light and atoms, quantum correlations of modes, which are caused by the nonlocality of the state of the source, are completely transmitted into atoms. The system under consideration can be used as a quantum channel where information is encoded in nonorthogonal states by modulating the intensity of a pump wave. The channel capacity has been calculated, which is determined by the Helstrom limit.

Transfer of quantum correlations in nonunitary evolution

В. Н. Горбачев, Andrew I. Trubilko

A generalized Lindblad equation has been derived for describing the evolution of two dynamical systems interacting with a bath formed by two broadband modes of squeezed light in an entangled state. The transfer of quantum correlations, in particular, entanglement between the bath and dynamic systems, which are taken in the form of two electromagnetic field modes separated by two high- Q cavities, two atoms, and an atom and a mode, has been analyzed. It has been found that the entanglement of the bath is transferred both to two modes and to two atoms, which can form an almost perfect Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pair. It has been shown that the interaction of the bath with the system consisting of an atom and a mode for which collective boson operators are introduced leads to the appearance of coherent and squeezed states.

Non-Markovianity as a resource for quantum correlation teleportation

Anahita Motavallibashi, Hamidreza Mohammadi, Ahmad Akhound

Quantum teleportation of the quantum correlated states via noisy channels is investigated. The noisy channels are realized by a couple of two-level atoms (qubits) embedded in a zero-temperature bosonic bath. The entanglement of the channels is provided by the interqubit interaction and/or through the memory of the environment. Especially for the case of noninteracting qubits, the resource of the teleportation can be supplied by the entangled state of the channel, which is provided by information backflow in the non-Markovian regime of the evolution. More non-Markovianity of the dynamics generates a higher amount of induced entanglement and hence enhances the quality of the quantum correlation teleportation process. When the degree of non-Markovianity of dynamics is sufficiently high, quantum teleportation, which is superior to classical communication, is achievable.

Coherent control of quantum correlations in atomic systems

Ashat M. Basharov, A. A. Bashkeev, Edward A. Manykin

A new mechanism of development of quantum correlations due to the combined effects of a common heat bath and a resonant classical electromagnetic field is analyzed for a system of two two-level atoms coupled by dipole-dipole interaction. Conditions are found under which arbitrary steady-state entanglement can be created in the absence of measurement in an entangled basis. The analysis of dynamics of entanglement is focused on the effects of dipole-dipole interaction, mean number of thermal photons, degree of squeezing of thermal radiation, classical field strength, and presence of additional decay channels.

Dynamics of quantum correlations in quantum teleportation

K. El Anouz, Ibrahim El Aouadi, Abderrahim El Allati +1 more

A scheme of quantum teleportation using Jaynes–Cummings model is proposed. It consists of using a partial entangled state generated from the interaction between a two-level atom and single mode of radiation field as a quantum channel. By controlling the number of photons inside cavity and detuning parameter, the dynamical evolution of quantum correlation and entanglement degree in terms of quantum discord and concurrence, respectively, in the nonresonance case are investigated. Moreover, a comparative study between the teleported entanglement, teleported quantum correlation and average fidelity shows a good similarity between their dynamical evolution. Consequently, we conclude that quantum discord may be considered as a good information source in quantum teleportation process.
