Stability of dynamic squeezed state in four-wave mixing

Abstract

One of the realistic models of the squeezed state generation in the four-wave mixing has been discussed. An asymptotic stability of the generation regime of the light dynamic squeezing is strictly shown. The absence of the periodic bifurcation for the experimental parameter values reveals that the multifrequency generation of the squeezed light has not taken place.

Role of Phase Matching on the Generation of Squeezed States of Light with Four-Wave Mixing

We perform theoretical and experimental studies of the effect of phase matching on the generation of entangled twin beams with four-wave mixing. We find that it plays a critical role on the optimum parameters for the process.

The generation of a squeezed state via non-degenerate four-wave mixing in a system of three-level atoms is discussed. The condition for receiving a nearly perfect squeezing is shown.

Generation of squeezed states via degenerate four-wave mixing

M. D. Reid, Daniel F. Walls

A microscopic model of degenerate four-wave mixing including the quantization of the medium is given. Thus the full effects of loss and spontaneous emission on the squeezing attainable are analyzed. We examine separately the squeezing in the output fields for counterpropagating four-wave mixing, copropagating four-wave mixing, and four-wave mixing in a single-ended optical ring cavity. Good squeezing is possible only in certain limits of atomic parameters.

Squeezing Property of Two-mode Cavity Field in a Nondegenerate Four-wave Mixing System

Wenwu Deng

We apply nondegenerate four-wave mixing processes to the generation of squeezed light and study the evolution of squeezed light with time.We get the master equation of the two-mode field. We also show that the two-mode cavity field exhibits stable squeezing under some conditions. The degree of the squeezing is dependent upon the two photon intensity I2,the cooperativity parameter C and the side-mode detuning.
