Abstract

We present a two band fermion model consisting of a subband of conduction electrons and a subband of local electron pairs interacting via interband interactions. The model is solved in one dimension by means of the Bethe ansatz for an empty subband of local electron pairs. The ground state energy, the chemical potential, the critical exponents, describing the asymptotic behavior of correlation functions at long distances, the effective electron transport mass have been calculated numerically for an arbitrary density of conduction electrons.

INTEGRABLE TWO-PARAMETER MODEL OF THE FERMI GAS

Igor N. Karnaukhov

We present a two-band model of the gas of fermions consisting of a parabolic band of conduction electrons and a band of local pairs interacting via a δ-function interband interaction. The model is integrable and its solution has been obtained by means of the Bethe ansatz. The ground state energy and the density of conduction electrons have been calculated numerically.

Exact solution of a two-chain model of fermions

Igor N. Karnaukhov

We present a two sublattice model of fermions consisting of a chain of conduction electrons and a chain of local pairs interacting via an interlattice interaction. The model is integrable for some special values of the coupling constants and its solution has been obtained by means of the Bethe ansatz. The effective transport mass has been calculated numerically for an arbitrary density of conduction electrons. \textcopyright{} 1996 The American Physical Society.

Model of Fermions with Correlated Hopping (Integrable Cases)

Igor N. Karnaukhov

We present a new model describing strongly correlated electrons on a lattice. The model naturally describes the nearest-neighbor hopping of electrons and local electron pairs and the interaction between them. It is an extended Hubbard model exactly solvable in one dimension for some special values of the coupling constants. The Bethe ansatz equation are obtained and a ground state is discussed.

AN EXACTLY SOLVABLE ONE-DIMENSIONAL MODEL OF FERMIONS WITH CORRELATED HOPPING

Igor N. Karnaukhov

A new solution of supersymmetric model of electrons with correlated hopping which generalizes those obtained earlier is formulated. The model is solved in one dimension by the Bethe ansatz. The ground state energy is calculated, and the critical exponents describing the decrease of the correlation functions on long distance are derived.

Thermodynamics of an integrable model for electrons with correlated hopping

Gerald Bedürftig, Holger Frahm

A new supersymmetric model for electrons with generalized hopping terms and Hubbard interaction on a one-dimensional lattice is solved by means of the Bethe ansatz. We investigate the phase diagram of this model by studying the ground state and excitations of the model as a function of the interaction parameter, electronic density and magnetization. Using arguments from conformal field theory we can study the critical exponents describing the asymptotic behaviour of correlation functions at long distances.

A New Integrable Two-Parameter Model of Strongly Correlated Electrons in One Dimension

R. Z Bariev, A Klümper, J Zittartz

A new one-dimensional fermion model depending on two independent interaction parameters is formulated and solved exactly by the Bethe-ansatz method. The Hamiltonian of the model contains the Hubbard interaction and correlated hopping as well as pair hopping terms. The density-density and pair correlations are calculated which manifest superconducting properties in certain regimes of the phase diagram.
