Abstract

The effect of Dzialoshinski–Moriya (DM) interaction on thermal entanglement of a two-qubit XXZ spin chain in a homogenous magnetic field is investigated. It is found that the DM interaction can enhance thermal entanglement. When D is large enough, the entanglement can exist for larger temperatures and strong magnetic field.

Thermal Entanglement of an XY Two-Qutrit Spin Chain with Dzialoshinski–Moriya Interaction

Xiao-San Ma, Wang An-Min

The effect of Dzialoshinski–Moriya (DM) interaction on thermal entanglement of an XY two-qutrit spin chain is investigated. We find that DM interaction and the anisotropy parameter can enhance quantum thermal entanglement to a maximal value individually. However, when both of them take large values, the entanglement is not enhanced, but is destroyed. Our analysis will shed some light on the understanding of the effect of the DM interaction on thermal entanglement of an XY two-qutrit spin chain.

INFLUENCE OF ANISOTROPY AND MAGNETIC FIELD ON THERMAL ENTANGLEMENT IN HEISENBERG MODEL AND THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF MODEL

Milan R. Pantić, Nemanja Micić, Milica V. Pavkov-Hrvojević +2 more

The thermal entanglement in a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XXZ system, also XYZ system, with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) couplings in an inhomogenous magnetic field, was studied. The effects of these two kinds of anisotropies on the thermal entanglement have been studied in detail in the concept for concurrence, the measure of entanglement. The analytical expressions of concurrence are obtained for this model. It is found that the DM interaction can enhance thermal entanglement and can be efficiently controlled by the DM interaction parameter and ehchange interaction Jx, Jy and Jz. When D is large enough, the entanglement can exist for larger temperatures and strong magnetic field. We also analysed thermodynamic properties of Heisenberg model and the most important results were shown in the paper.

Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions effects on the entanglement dynamics of a two qubit xxz spin system in non-Markovian environment

Georges Collince Fouokeng, Martin Tchoffo, Edwine Tendong +1 more

We investigate the exact entanglement dynamics of a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interactions, interacting with an anisotropic spin bath in thermal equi- librium at a temperature T, driven by an external magnetic field B along the z-axis. We establish that, for an initially entangled qubit pair, the DM interactions generate entanglement and enhance the entanglement in the revival region. The effects of the DM interaction are also seen to be very important at high temperatures and for weak coupling between the two qubits where it is seen to preserve entanglement. These effects are weakened when the magnetic field B and the Heisenberg coupling are switched on. If the two-qubits are prepared in an initially separable state, the DM in- teraction instead has a negative effect on their entanglement. On a whole entanglement can better be preserve in the spin chain even at high temperatures by increases the external magnetic field B and the Heisenberg couplings, and by tuning the strength of the DM interaction.

Thermal Entanglement in Two-Qutrit Heisenberg XX Chain with Different Dzyaloshinskii—Moriya Interaction and Nonuniform Magnetic Field

Meng Qin, Yanbiao Li, Zhong Bai +2 more

The effects of the different Dzyaloshinskii—Moriya (DM) interaction on thermal entanglement of a two-qutrit Heisenberg XX spin chain in a nonuniform magnetic field are investigated. Our results imply that the x-component DM interaction plays a central role in enhancing quantum entanglement and it has a higher critical temperature than the z-component DM interaction. The entanglement can be tunable controlled by changing the multiple of the magnetic fields B 1 and B 2 . Also we found that different DM interaction are competitive to each other in some conditions.

THERMAL ENTANGLEMENT OF A TWO-QUTRIT XXZ SPIN CHAIN WITH DZIALOSHISKI-MORIYA INTERACTION

XIAO SAN MA

The effect of Dzialoshiski-Moriya (DM) interaction and anisotropy on the thermal entanglement of a two-qutrit XXZ spin chain is investigated. Our analysis implies that the DM interaction and weak anisotropy can enhance the thermal entanglement to a maximum value while the strong anisotropy plays a positive role in shrinking thermal entanglement. Furthermore, we find that the entanglement evolution in terms of anisotropy is sensitive to weak anisotropy.
