INTERACTION OF MESOSCOPIC JOSEPHSON JUNCTION WITH SINGLE-MODE QUANTUM LIGHT FIELD

Jiao Zhi

The lnteraction of mesoscopic Josephson junction with a single mode quantum light field was investigated. It is found that the expectation value and the super current fluctuation may have Shapiro steps. The static super current flows in the positive or negative direction, which relates to the phase of the light field.

Interaction of mesoscopic Josephson junction with the excited even and odd coherent states

You-Bang Zhan

The interaction of a mesoscopic Josephson junction (MJJ) with the excited even and odd coherent states is investigated. Some properties of the supercurrent in the MJJ in the presence of nonclassical light fields, such as collapse and revival phenomenon, the current–voltage step, dc component fluctuation and quantum coherence of supercurrent, are studied. It is shown that the expectation values and the fluctuation of supercurrent can exhibit dc components. It is also shown that the static supercurrent flows, dc components of the supercurrent fluctuation and correlation function of the dc supercurrent components, are related to the phase of the light field.

Interaction of mesoscopic Josephson junction with superposition of even and odd coherent states

Zhao-Xian Yu, Zhi-Yong Jiao, Zhi-Ming Bai

The interaction of a mesoscopic Josephson junction with superposition of even and odd coherent states is investigated. It is found that the expectation value and the fluctuation of a supercurrent can exhibit dc components. The number of current-voltage steps (CVSs) for the former are less than the latter. For the former the static supercurrent flows in a positive or negative direction, which depends on the phase of the light field. The correlation function and squeezing of the dc components of a supercurrent depend on the value of CVS. For some special value of a CVS, the squeezing disappears.
