Abstract

I give a reply to the comment by Cardoso et al on my recent paper (Yang Z-B 2006 J. Phys. B: At. Mol. Opt. Phys. 39 603).

Comment on ‘Faithful teleportation of an unknown atomic state and a cavity field entangled state without Bell-state measurement’

Wesley Bueno Cardoso, Ardiley Torres Avelar, B. Baseia

We consider a protocol recently proposed by Zhen-Biao Yang for teleporting entangled photon states from one bimodal cavity to another. It is shown that the proposed protocol can afford full success probability instead of the 1/4 success probability that the author ascribed to his scheme.

Comment on “Scheme for teleportation of an unknown atomic state without the Bell-state measurement”

Ravindra W. Chhajlany, Antoni Wójcik

Recently, Ye and Guo [Phys. Rev. A 70, 054303 (2004)] have presented a scheme for implementing quantum teleportation of atomic states in cavity QED. In this Comment, we show that contrary to the authors' claim, the scheme is based on Bell-state measurement.

Comment on “Teleportation of entangled states without Bell-state measurement”

F. De Zela

We consider a protocol recently proposed by Cardoso et al. for teleporting entangled photon states from a bimodal cavity to another one. It is shown that the proposed protocol can afford full fidelity instead of the 97% fidelity that the authors ascribed to their scheme.

Reply to “Comment on ‘Scheme for teleportation of an unknown atomic state without the Bell-state measurement’ ”

Ye Liu, Guang‐Can Guo

We agree with the criticism in the Comment by Chhajlany et al. that the parlance ``without the Bell-state measurement'' in our early scheme [Phys. Rev. A 70, 054303 (2004)] is improper. But the inaccurate statement does not influence the correctness of our whole scheme. Furthermore we do not think that for enhancing the successful probability the unitary transformation of their Comment can be implemented experimentally in cavity QED system.
