Reply to “Comment on ‘Scheme for teleportation of an unknown atomic state without the Bell-state measurement’ ”

Abstract

We agree with the criticism in the Comment by Chhajlany et al. that the parlance ``without the Bell-state measurement'' in our early scheme [Phys. Rev. A 70, 054303 (2004)] is improper. But the inaccurate statement does not influence the correctness of our whole scheme. Furthermore we do not think that for enhancing the successful probability the unitary transformation of their Comment can be implemented experimentally in cavity QED system.

Comment on “Scheme for teleportation of an unknown atomic state without the Bell-state measurement”

Ravindra W. Chhajlany, Antoni Wójcik

Recently, Ye and Guo [Phys. Rev. A 70, 054303 (2004)] have presented a scheme for implementing quantum teleportation of atomic states in cavity QED. In this Comment, we show that contrary to the authors' claim, the scheme is based on Bell-state measurement.

Comment on ‘Approximate and Conditional Teleportation of an Unknown Atomic State Without Bell-State Measurement with Two-Photon Interaction’

A.D. dSouza, Wesley Bueno Cardoso, Ardiley Torres Avelar +1 more

In a previous work [Commun. Theor. Phys. 45 (2006) 79] a scheme was presented for approximate and conditional teleportation of an unknown atomic state in a QED-cavity without Bell-state measurement via two-photon Jaynes–Cummings model in the effective Hamiltonian approach. This comment presents an alternative method, based on the so called 'full two-photon Jaynes–Cummings Hamiltonian approach'. Accordingly, it describes the evolution of the two-photon degenerate process for arbitrary average photon number inside the cavity, as the correct way to implement teleportation in this scenario.

Comment on ‘Faithful teleportation of an unknown atomic state and a cavity field entangled state without Bell-state measurement’

Wesley Bueno Cardoso, Ardiley Torres Avelar, B. Baseia

We consider a protocol recently proposed by Zhen-Biao Yang for teleporting entangled photon states from one bimodal cavity to another. It is shown that the proposed protocol can afford full success probability instead of the 1/4 success probability that the author ascribed to his scheme.

SCHEME FOR BELL-STATE-MEASUREMENT-FREE QUANTUM TELEPORTATION

MING YANG, ZHUO-LIANG CAO

A teleportation scheme for unknown atomic states is proposed in cavity QED. The Bell state measurement is not needed in the teleportation process, and the success probability can reach 1.0. In addition, the current scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay and thermal field.

TELEPORTATION WITHOUT JOINT MEASUREMENT IN CAVITY QED

Zheng‐Yuan Xue, You-Min Yi, Zhuo‐Liang Cao

Schemes for the teleporting of the cavity mode state and the unknown atomic state are proposed in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) without joint Bell-state measurement (BSM). The presented schemes are implemented with separate atomic measurements instead of any type of joint measurement. The discussion of the scheme indicates that it can be realized by current technologies.
