Polarization photon-gated persistent spectral hole burning

Zhao Lizeng, Xiaomei Zhang, Yong Hua Qin +5 more

Polarization photon-gated persistent spectral hole burning (PSHB) was performed for the meso-phenyl-tetrabenzoporphyrinato-zinc–aromatic cyanide system. Excellent signal-to-noise ratio was obtained. The polarization dependence of the gating effect was observed and studied. Hole filling was investigated in the polarization photon-gated PSHB. Over 100 photon-gated holes have been burned and detected for this system by polarization spectroscopy.

HOLOGRAPHIC DETECTION OF PHOTON-GATED SPECTRAL HOLES AND IMAGE STORAGE

Zhao Lizeng, MA XIAO, Yong Qin +5 more

Holographic photon-gated spectral hole burning and image storage were performed in meso-phenyl-tetrabenzoporphyrinato-zinc/aromatic cyanide systems. In holographic spectral hole burning, the signal to noise ratio is improved considerably.Based on photon-gated persistent spectral hole burning,photon-gated frequency-selective multiple images were recorded and recalled successfully as holograms in the material.
