Abstract

A cavity quantum electrodynamics scheme for preparing a genuinely entangled state [A. Borras, et al., J. Phys. A 40 (2007) 13407 ] on six two-level atoms is proposed. In the scheme, the atom-cavity detuning is much bigger than the atom-cavity coupling strength and the necessary preparation time is much shorter than the Rydberg-atom lifespan. Hence the scheme has two distinct features, i.e., insensitive to the cavity decay and the atom radiation.

为准备一个真正地纠缠的状态的一个洞量 electrodynamics 计划[一。Borras,等, J。Phys。

Generation of a Genuine Six-Atom Entangled State in Cavity QED

Yuanhua Li, Xianping Wang, Ming-huang Sang +1 more

We propose a potential scheme to generate a genuine six-atom entangled state [J. Phys. A 42 (2009) 415301] by using atoms in cavity QED system, where the atoms interact simultaneously with the highly detuned single-mode cavity and the strong classical driving field. Thus our approach is insensitive to both the cavity decay and thermal field.

Preparation of a New Type of Multiqubit Entangled States in Cavity QED

Xiong Wen-yuan, Xin-Wen Wang, Li-Xin Xia

Recently Yang, Chu, and Han [Phys. Rev. A 70 (2004) 022329] presented a new type of multipartite entangled states for implementing efficient many-party controlled teleportation of multiqubit quantum information. Here we propose a simple scheme for preparing such a type of multi-atom entangled states in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). The scheme involves atom-cavity interaction with large detuning, and is immune to the cavity decay and the thermal field states. Some practical analyses show its availability with the present technology.

Generation of Entangled Multi-atom Dicke States in Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics

Shu Jing, Zhong Liu

We propose a scheme to generate two-atom maximally entangled state in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). The scheme can be extended to generation of entangled multi-atom Dicke states if we control the interaction time of atoms with cavity modes. We use adiabatically state evolution under large atom-cavity detuning, so the scheme is insensitive to atomic spontaneous decay. The influence of cavity decay on fidelity and success probability is discussed.

Efficient scheme for preparation of the multi-atom W state via cavity quantum electrodynamics

Jin Zhang, Liu Ye

We present an efficient scheme for preparation of the multi-atom W state via cavity quantum electrodynamics. Involved in this scheme are n identical two-level atoms and a single-mode cavity field. Discussion indicates that this scheme can be realized easily by current technologies.
