Tripartite entangled Wigner operator, the Wigner function and its marginal distributions

Abstract

For a tripartite entangled system, based on the newly constructed tripartite Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen entangled state, we find the entangled state representation of the Wigner operator. The corresponding Wigner function then leads us to obtain the physical marginal distributions. We emphasize that, for an entangled-particle system, the physical meaning of the Wigner distribution function should lie in that its marginal distributions give the probability of finding the particles in an entangled way.

THEORY OF TOMOGRAPHY FOR THE WIGNER FUNCTION OF TRIPARTITE ENTANGLED SYSTEMS

Hong-Yi Fan, Nian-Quan Jiang

Based on the observation that for an entangled-particles system, the physical meaning of the Wigner distribution function should lie in that its marginal distributions would give the probability of finding the particles in an entangled way, we establish a tomography theory for the Wigner function of tripartite entangled systems. The newly constructed tripartite entangled state representation of the three-mode Wigner operator plays a central role in realizing this goal.

Continuous Multipartite Entangled Representation and Its Wigner Operator and Marginal Distribution

Hong‐Chun Yuan, Heng-Mei Li, Qi Kai-Guo

By extending the EPR bipartite entanglement to multipartite case, we briefly introduce a continuous multipartite entangled representation and its canonical conjugate state in the multi-mode Fock space, analyze their Schmidt decompositions and give their entangling operators. Furthermore, based on the above analysis we also find the n -mode Wigner operator. In doing so we may identify the physical meaning of the marginal distribution of the Wigner function.

The complex fractional Fourier transform, the complex Wigner transform and the entangled Wigner operator in EPR entangled state representation

Nanrun Zhou, Liyun Hu, Hong-Yi Fan

Based on the Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) entangled state representation, we show that the complex Wigner transform for the complex function ψ(η) turns out to be the quantum statistical average of the entangled Wigner operator in the state |ψ⟩. The complex fractional Fourier transform is also introduced, which corresponds to a rotation of the complex Wigner function. Thus, the intrinsic relation between the complex Wigner transform and the EPR entangled state is revealed.

Wang Pei-Qing, Song Tong-Qiang

We construct the nonlinear tripartite entangled state representation and the related generalized Wigner operator. Then we discussed the Wigner functions of the nonlinear tripartite entangled state and the three-mode nonlinear squeezed vacuum state, and obtained the classical Weyl corresponding function of the three-mode nonlinear squeezed state.
