In this paper, a new class of two-mode optical field states is given. The quasi-spin coherent state is their lowest state. Their non-classical properties are discussed in detail.
New states of electromagnetic field, generalized excited negative binomial states are introduced here. These states interpolate between the superposition of two excited coherent states and number states. The non-classical properties for these states are discussed, such as, second order correlation function, squeezing phenomena [normal squeezing and amplitude squared squeezing], phase properties in Pegg–Barnett formalism and the quasi-probability distribution functions (Q-function and Wigner function).
Non-classical states of the radiation field play very important role in quantum optics and have extensive application background in practice, therefore more and more people are greatly interested in how to construct non-classical states of various kinds. In this paper,we construct a new class of non-classical state of the radiation field, called superposed state of two-mode vacuum state and two-mode coherent state,we construct the mathematical structure of the superposed state of two-mode vacuum state and two-mode coherent state, discuss its quasi-probability distribution, furthermore the numerical results show that the superposed state of two-mode vacuum state and two-mode coherent state possess very obvious non-classical properties. Therefore it is a class of new non-classical quantum state.
A new class of non-class of non-classical state of the radiation field is constructed, which is called superposed state of two-mode vacuum state and two-mode coherent state. The non-classical properties are discussed, which are squeezed effect,sub-Poissonian distribution and the second-order cross correlation function between the two modes. The numerical results show that the superposed state of two-mode vacuum state and two-mode coherent state possesses very obvious non-classical properties. Therefore it is a new non-classical quantum state.
