Abstract

In this letter, a new type of q-coherent states with M components is introduced. Some properties of the q-coherent state are discussed. The cycle representations of quantum algebra SU q(2) are obtained by means of the two-mode q-coherent states.

The Two-Variable Coherent States of the Quantum Algebra su q (1,1)

Gong Ren-shan

By means of the k -order q -boson realizations of su q (1,1), a new kind of q-coherent states, the two-variable coherent states, are introduced for the quantum algebra su q (1,1).They are relative to a definite irreducible representation of su q (1,1) and shown to satisfy a completeness relation in a subspace of q -boson's Fock space. With the help of these coherent states the z -representation, representation in functional space, for su q (1,1) is also discussed.

Multi-mode q-coherent states

A. I. Solomon, Jacob Katriel

We show how to construct a multi-mode operator which satisfies the quantum-Heisenberg-Weyl algebra (H-W q algebra); we use this operator to create new two-mode realizations of the SU q (2) and SU q (1,1) quantum algebra. We also investigate the corresponding coherent states.

Uncorrelated two-mode SU (1,1) coherent states

Hou Li-Zhen, Gao-Jian Zeng

We have constructed a new kind of two-mode bosonic realization of SU (1,1) Lie algebra, on the basis of which the SU (1,1) generalized coherent states in the two-mode Fock space are derived. These two-mode SU (1,1) coherent states, which are called uncorrelated two-mode SU (1,1) coherent states, include three special cases. For these states, we study the mean photon number distribution and their non-classical properties, which are photon anti-bunching, violations of Cauchy-Schwarz inequality and two-mode squeezing.

The Phase-Difference Properties of Two-Mode Coherent States

Yaping Yang, Weiguo Feng, Xiang Xia Wu

In this letter, we have constructed the creation and annihilation operators of phase-difference quanta and some of other operators in phase space. The algebraic properties of these operators and the phase-difference properties of two-mode coherent states are discussed.

ON COHERENT STATES AND q-DEFORMED ALGEBRAS 1

Demosthenes Ellinas

We review some aspects of the relation between ordinary coherent states and q-deformed generalized coherent states with some of the simplest cases of quantum Lie algebras. In particular, new properties of (q-)coherent states are utilized to provide a path integral formalism allowing to study a modified form of q-classical mechanics, to probe some geometrical consequences of the q-deformation and finally to construct Bargmann complex analytic realizations for some quantum algebras. 1
