Abstract

We propose a protocol for teleportation of arbitrary mixture of diagonal Bell states, it is shown that the channel can be constructed with either pure maximally entangled states or mixed bound entangled states. We also present protocols to realize the controlled teleportation of mixture of diagonal Bell states via multi-particle mixed states. Our results show that bound entangled states are also important and useful resources in quantum communication tasks.

Teleportations of Mixed States and Multipartite Quantum States

Chang‐shui Yu, Yahong Wang, He‐Shan Song

In this paper, we propose a protocol to deterministically teleport an unknown mixed state of qubit by utilizing a maximally bipartite entangled state of qubits as quantum channel. If a non-maximally entangled bipartite pure state is employed as quantum channel, the unknown mixed quantum state of qubit can be teleported with 1−(1− C 2 ) 1/2 probability, where C is the concurrence of the quantum channel. The protocol can also be generalized to teleport a mixed state of qudit or a multipartite mixed state. More important purpose is that, on the basis of the protocol, the teleportation of an arbitrary multipartite (pure or mixed) quantum state can be decomposed into the teleportation of each subsystem by employing separate entangled states as quantum channels. In the case of deterministic teleportation, Bob only needs to perform unitary transformations on his single particles in order to recover the initial teleported multipartite quantum state.

Localizable entanglement as a necessary resource of controlled quantum teleportation

Artur Barasiński, Ievgen I. Arkhipov, Jiŕí Svozilík

We analyze the controlled teleportation protocol through three-qubit mixed states. In particular, we investigate the relation between the faithfulness of the controlled teleportation scheme and entanglement. While our knowledge concerning controlled teleportation and entanglement in pure states is well established, for mixed states it is considerably much harder task and very little has been done in this field. Here, we present counterintuitive results that provide a new light on controlled teleportation protocol. It is shown that even mixed biseparable states are useful for this protocol along with genuine entangled three-qubit states.

Teleportation of an arbitrary mixture of diagonal states of multiqubits via classical correlation and classical communication

An Min Wang

We propose a protocol in which the faithful and deterministic teleportation of an arbitrary mixture of diagonal states is completed $via$ classical correlation and classical communication. Our scheme can be generalized straightforwardly to the case of $N$-qubits by using $N$ copies of classical correlated pairs and classical communication. Moreover, a varying scheme by using the generalized classical correlated state within a multiqubit space is also presented. In addition, the arbitrary mixed state whose set of eigenvectors is known are a direct application of our protocol.

Controlled Teleportation of an Arbitrary Two-Particle State by One EPR Pair and Cluster State

A scheme for controlled teleportation of an arbitrary two-particle state using a maximally entangled EPR pair and a cluster state as the quantum channel is proposed. After receiving Alice's Bell state measurement results, the controller performs a joint measurement on his particles under a non-maximally entangled Bell-basis.The receiver needs to introduce an auxiliary qubit, and performs a series of appropriate unitary transformations on his particles. The original state can be teleported successfully with the probability 2 cos2 9.
