Statistical properties of photons in collective resonance fluorescence

Nikolay N. Bogolubov, E.I. Aliskenderov, A.S. Shumovsky +1 more

The photon statistics of spectrum components and the cross correlation between spectrum components in resonance fluorescence are discussed. For the collective case anticorrelation between the central component and the sidebands is observed.

Additional Sidebands in Cooperative Resonance Fluorescence

H. J. Carmichael

Fluorescent spectra for two, three, four, and five atoms in a volume of dimension less than the resonant wavelength have been obtained numerically. For high laser intensities, resonances displaced from line center by twice the Rabi frequency are found in addition to the usual Stark sidebands.

An analytical study of the sideband correlations in a strongly driven three-level atom in the cascade configuration is presented. The quantum nature of the sidebands is discussed in terms of intensity-intensity correlations and photon statistics.

Cooperative resonance fluorescence and atomic interactions

S. Ya. Kilin

The effect of interatomic interaction on cooperative resonance fluorescence in the case of well separated components is discussed. It is shown that for two atoms the new components appear both in the emission spectrum and in the intensity correlation function. An increase of the number of interacting atoms leads to an increase in the number of additional spectral components.
