A NEW PARAMETER OF ENTANGLEMENT FOR A QUBIT SYSTEM PLACED INSIDE A DISSIPATIVE CAVITY

Abstract

The entanglement in a system of a single two-level trapped ion and a single-mode quantized field in a coherent state inside a phase-damped cavity is investigated. Analytic results under certain parametric conditions are obtained, by means of which we analyze the influence of dissipation on the atomic Fisher information and its marginal distribution. An interesting relation between the temporal entanglement sudden birth, sudden death, atomic Fisher information and the dissipation effect is observed.

ATOMIC TUNNELING AND ENTANGLEMENT SUDDEN DEATH IN A DISSIPATIVE ATOM-CAVITY SYSTEM

J. Q. Shen, JIAO CHEN, Wei Wang +1 more

In this paper, we study the effect of atom decay on the atomic tunneling and entanglement dynamics in an atom-cavity system. This system consists of an atom trapped in a double-well potential and a cavity that couples to the atom. The population of the atom in the left/right well and the dynamics of entanglement are calculated and discussed. We find that the tunneling behaves as a damping-oscillating function of time, and the entanglement between the internal and external degree of freedom of the atom exhibits entanglement sudden death (ESD).

ENTANGLEMENT FOR JAYNES CUMMINGS MODEL IN THE PRESENCE MULTI-PHOTON PROCESS UNDER DECOHERENCE EFFECT

S. Abdel‐Khalek, Mohammed Almalki

The quantum nonlocal correlation between an atom and coherent field is described quantitatively in terms of multi-photon and phase damping processes. Especially, considering a two-level atom interacts with a single-mode quantized field in a coherent state inside a phase-damped cavity, and taking into account the number of multi-photon transitions and phase damping effect, the entanglement is investigated during the time evolution as a function of involved' parameters in the system. The results show that the enhancement of the transitions are very useful in generating a high amount of entanglement. Due to the significance of how a system is quantum correlated with its environment in the construction of a scalable quantum computer, the entanglement dynamics between the bipartite system with its environment is evaluated and investigated during the dissipative process. Finally, the physical interpretation of the correlation behaviors between the subsystems is explained through the statistical properties of the field.

Entanglement dynamics of two qubits driven by classical laser field

Xiao Qing-sheng

The entanglement dynamics of two two-level atoms which are respectively trapped in two independent dissipative single-mode cavities and strongly driven by the classical fields is investigated analytically utilizing the super operator method. It is found that the entanglement is not related to the initial value of the cavity coherent states. The driving field enhances the entanglement sudden death for small dissipation of the cavity, while it protects the entanglement from sudden death for large dissipation in the presence of strong driving field. These results show that even in the bad cavity(with large decay rate),the entanglement can be free from sudden death with the assistance of classical driving field.

Influence of the dissipation on the N-level atom interacting with a two two-level atoms in presence of qubit–qubit interaction

S. Abdel‐Khalek, Hashim M. Alshehri, Eied Mahmoud Khalil +1 more

The interacting of two qubits and an N-level atom based on su(2) Lie algebra in the presence of both qubit-qubit interaction and dissipation term is considered. The effects of the qubit-qubit interaction and the dissipation term on the dynamics of the proposed system are discussed in detail for certain values of the number of levels. The dynamical expressions of the observable operators are obtained using the Heisenberg equation of motion. The population inversion and linear entropy, as well as the concurrence formula as a measure of entanglement between the two qubits are calculated and discussed. The roles of the number of levels, the qubit-qubit coupling parameter and the dissipation rate on these quantities are also discussed. We explore the sudden birth and sudden death of the entanglement phenomena with and without the dissipation term.

Quantum and Classical Quantifiers for Atom-Nonlinear Field System under Decoherence

K. Berrada

The entanglement and coherence of a single qubit and deformed bosonic field inside a phase-damped cavity are discussed. In the classical q → 1 limit, analytic results under certain parametric conditions are obtained. The influence of deformation and dissipation on the negativity, Wehrl entropy, atomic Wehrl entropy and marginal distribution is studied. An interesting relation between the entanglement, deformation and decoherence effects is observed.

Entanglement sudden death and sudden birth of an atom coupled to a bimodal lossy cavity

Mahmoud Abdel‐Aty

We propose another method for realizing entanglement sudden death and sudden birth using a single atom interacting with a bimodal cavity field in a dissipative environment. By suitably choosing the system's parameters and precisely controlling the dynamics, we find a novel connection between maximum entanglement and mixed state parameters. We discuss the intricate relationship between the entanglement dynamics and the dissipative environment.
