Stationary Entanglement of Two Charge Qubits Induced by a Damped and Driven Cavity

Abstract

Two charge qubits located inside a damped driven cavity is considered. The dynamical evolution of the entanglement between the two qubits is demonstrated analytically or numerically. It is found that with the cavity dissipation, the steady entanglement between the two qubits is sensitive to the initial state of the qubits, but independent of the cavity field's initial state. The two qubits initially in the separable and most mixed state can be more easily entangled. The external field can be used to enhance the steady entanglement between the two charge qubits.

Two charge qubits being coupled to a damped cavity with different couplings are considered. The dynamical evolution of the entanglement between the two qubits is demonstrated analytically or numerically. It is found that with the cavity dissipation, the steady entanglement between the two qubits can be achieved. The two qubits being initially in the separable and most mixed state can be easily induced to a steady entangled state, and the relative difference of the couplings can be used to enhance the steady entanglement between the two charge qubits.

Quantum Correlation Generation in a Damped Cavity

Jungang Li, Jian Zou, Bao-Ming Xu +1 more

Dynamic evolutions of the quantum discord and entanglement between two charge qubits located inside a damped cavity are demonstrated analytically. It is found that with cavity dissipation, the dynamics of the quantum discord between two qubits is sensitive to the degree of mixing of the initial qubits' state. This is different from steady entanglement, which is independent of the degree of mixing of the initial state of the qubits.

Dynamic Behavior of Entanglement Between Two Spatially Separated Atoms in Two Dissipative and Driven Cavity Fields

Cui Hui-Ping, Jian Li, Liu Jin +1 more

We consider two two-level atoms, interacting with two independent dissipative cavities, each of which is driven by an external source. The two cavity fields are both initially prepared in the coherent states, and the two two-level atoms are initially prepared in the singlet state |Ψ − ⟩ = (|eg⟩ – |ge⟩)/√2. We investigate the influence of the damping constant κ, the intensity of the external sources F, and the relative difference of the atomic couplings r on the entanglement between the two atoms. In the dispersive approximation, we find that the entanglement between the two atoms decreases with the time evolution, and the decreasing rate of entanglement depends on the values of F/κ, κ/ω, and r. For the given small values of F/κ and κ/ω, on the one hand, the increasing of r favors entanglement decreasing of the atomic system, on the other hand, when r → 1 the entanglement decreasing becomes slower. With the increasing of the value of κ/ω, the influence of r on the decreasing rate of entanglement becomes smaller, and gradually disappears for the big value of κ/ω.

Entanglement in a driven two-qubit system coupled to common cavity

Amit Dey

A system, comprised of a qubit pair coupled to a common cavity, is studied with the aim of establishing qubit entanglement. This study is the sequel of the paper Phys. Rev. A 111, 043705 (2025), where similar model was investigated for an initially vacuum cavity. In the present manuscript the cavity with finite initial occupancy is considered and the effect of asymmetric qubit cavity couplings is investigated. For a closed system scenario, the ratio of the qubit-cavity couplings shows a threshold beyond which no maximally-entangled qubit state is available. The threshold value is shown to depend on the excitation level of the cavity. For a driven-dissipative case steady state entanglement is shown to depend non-monotonically on the qubit drive. Intricate interplay of drive, dissipation, and coupling asymmetry is shown to be pivotal for steady-state entanglement generation.

Entanglement dynamics of two qubits driven by classical laser field

Xiao Qing-sheng

The entanglement dynamics of two two-level atoms which are respectively trapped in two independent dissipative single-mode cavities and strongly driven by the classical fields is investigated analytically utilizing the super operator method. It is found that the entanglement is not related to the initial value of the cavity coherent states. The driving field enhances the entanglement sudden death for small dissipation of the cavity, while it protects the entanglement from sudden death for large dissipation in the presence of strong driving field. These results show that even in the bad cavity(with large decay rate),the entanglement can be free from sudden death with the assistance of classical driving field.
