Cavity QED With a Chip-Scale Atomic Beam Source

There has been recent interest in using room-temperature atomic vapors and beams to achieve compact technological solutions, such as chip-scale magnetometry and atomic clocks. Here we integrate a chip-scale rubidium beam source with a high finesse optical cavity to create an atomic cavity-QED system.
