Abstract

Since decoherence caused by some environment is always present in practice, the quantum channels usually exist in the form of non-maximally entangled states instead of maximally entangled states. We present an approach to deterministically teleport an arbitrary two-qubit state with a probabilistic quantum channel composed of a one-dimensional six-qubit cluster state. To avoid damaging the states to be teleported, the channel is modulated in advance, and Hadamard transformation and Bell state measurement are applied instead of six qubit von Neumann measurement. The scheme is flexible because the channel can be modulated either by the sender or by the receiver, and we may decide which party modulates the channel according to the distribution of available particle and gate operation resources. Furthermore, we provide different ways of redistributing qubits between the sender and the receiver, as well as alternative solutions of constructing the scheme. Finally, for general cases, we extend this scheme to deterministic teleportation of an arbitrary n-qubit state.

Deterministic teleportation of an arbitrary two-qubit state via a one-dimensional four-qubit cluster state

Hui Li, Chunwen Li, Re-Bing Wu

This paper presents an approach to deterministically teleport an arbitrary two-qubit state through a one-dimensional four-qubit cluster state serving as a probabilistic quantum channel. The channel is modulated in advance to avoid damage to the original states in this scheme, which is caused by the inevitable failure of constructing a channel between the sender and the receiver. The scheme is flexible because the channel can be modulated either by the sender or by the receiver, with the option of deciding whether the sender or the receiver modulates the channel, according to the distribution of the available particle resources. The efficiency can be improved by reusing previously discarded results that may lead to a faithful channel. The scheme can be uniformly performed, so the design process can be greatly simplified to realize a reliable deterministic teleportation. Finally, the scheme is extended to deterministic teleportation of an arbitrary n-qubit state in a generalized form.

Probabilistic teleportation of arbitrary two-particle entangled state via cluster state

NI Zhi-xiang

Two schemes for teleporting an unknown two-particle entangled state via a four-qubit non-maximally entangled cluster state as quantum channel are proposed. In the first scheme,a special bipartite entangled state was teleported, the receiver Bob can reconstruct the original state with a certain probability according to the sender Alice's measurement results, and the successful probability is determined by the smallest two coefficients' absolute values of the cluster state. In the latter scheme an arbitrary two-particle entangled state was teleported.Contrast to the first scheme, Bob should perform a quantum controlled phase gate operation besides the unitary transformation. The considerable advantage is that it employs a non-maximally entangled cluster state as quantum channel in these two schemes. Thus, the schemes can greatly reduce the amount of entanglement resources and need less classical bits.

A scheme of quantum teleportation of an arbitrary two-qubit state by using a five-qubit cluster state as the quantum channel is proposed. In the scheme, the sender needs to perform five-qubit joint von-Neumann measurement on her qubits, the receiver can reconstruct the arbitrary two-qubit by performing some appropriately unitary transformations on his qubits after he knows the measured results of the sender. This teleportation scheme is deterministic, and the probability of successful teleportation is 100%.

An efficient quantum teleportation of six-qubit state via an eight-qubit cluster state

Nan Zhao, Min Li, Nan Chen +1 more

We present a scheme for teleporting a certain class of six-particle state via an eight-particle cluster state as quantum channel. In our scheme, the sender merely needs to perform an eight-particle von-Neumann projective measurement, and the receiver gives a corresponding general evolution to restore the original state. Our scheme is a deterministic scheme. Compared with other schemes proposed before, our scheme possesses higher intrinsic efficiency.

Teleportation of an unknown bipartite state via non-maximally entangled two-particle state

Hai-Jing Cao, Yanqing Guo, He‐Shan Song

In this paper a new scheme for teleporting an unknown entangled state of two particles is proposed. To weaken the requirement for the quantum channel, without loss of generality, two communicators only share a non-maximally entangled two-particle state. Teleportation can be probabilistically realized if sender performs Bell-state measurements and Hadamard transformation and receiver introduces two auxiliary particles, operates C -not operation, single-qubit measurements and appropriate unitary transformations. The probability of successful teleportation is determined by the smaller one among the coefficients' absolute values of the quantum channel.

Controlled Quantum Teleportation via Six-Qubit Cluster State

Yi-you Nie

A new scheme for controlled teleportation of an arbitrary single-qubit state is proposed in detail, using a six-qubit cluster state as quantum channel. For an arbitrary single-qubit state, the sender performs a joint von Neumann measurement on the five qubits of his own,and the controller performs a single-qubit projective measurement, then the receiver can reconstruct the arbitrary single-qubit state by performing some appropriately unitary transformations on his qubit after he knows the measurement results of both the sender and the controller. The probability of the success of the program is 100%.
