Abstract

A tripartite scheme for securely sharing an arbitrary unknown two-qutrit state is proposed, where two generalized Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) states serve as the quantum channel linking the three legitimate parties. The quantum information (i.e., the arbitrary unknown two-qutrit state) from the sender can be split in such a way that it can be reconstructed deterministically by any agent via a proper unitary operation provided that both agents collaborates together. Moreover, the generalization of the tripartite scheme to more-party case is also outlined.

Generalized Quantum Two-Qutrit-State Splitting

Yuan Hao, Yimin Liu, Zhanjun Zhang

A three-party scheme for splitting an arbitrary unknown two-qutrit state is proposed, where two non-maximally-entangled three-qutrit states are taken as the quantum channel among three parties. With the sender's help, if and only if both receivers collaborate together, they can securely share the quantum state in a probabilistic way by introducing an ancilla qutrit and performing appropriate unitary operations. The relation between the success probability and coefficients characterizing the quantum channel is revealed. The security of the present scheme is analyzed and confirmed. Moreover, the generalization of the three-party scheme to more-party case is also sketched.

Scheme for Generalized Quantum State Sharing of a Single-Qubit State in Cavity QED

Yuan Hao, Guiying Quan

An experimentally feasible scheme for generalized quantum state sharing of an arbitrary unknown single-qubit state in cavity QED is presented. Using a generalized Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) state as the quantum channel among the three parties, the quantum information (i.e. the single-qubit state) from the sender can be split in such a way that the information can be recovered if and only if both receivers collaborate. Moreover, the scheme is insensitive to both the effects of thermal field and cavity decay.

Tripartition of Arbitrary Single-Qubit Information via a Class of Asymmetric Four-Qubit W State

Xiaofeng Yin, Yimin Liu, Shiwei Shi +2 more

A four-party scheme is put forward for a sender to partition arbitrary single-qubit information among three receivers by utilizing a class of asymmetric four-qubit W state as quantum channels. In the scheme the sender's quantum information can be recovered by the three receivers if and only if they collaborate together. Specifically, they collaborate to perform first two different 2-qubit collective unitary operations and then a single-qubit unitary operation. The scheme is symmetric and (3,3)-threshold with regard to the reconstruction, for any receiver can be assigned to conclusively recover the quantum information with the other two's assistances.

Three-Party Quantum State Sharing of an Arbitrary Unknown Two-Qubit State Based on Entanglement Swapping and Bell-State Measurements

Yuan Hao, Jun Song, Kui Hou +3 more

We propose a scheme for sharing an arbitrary unknown two-qubit state among three parties by using a four-qubit cluster-class state and a Bell state as a quantum channel. With a quantum controlled phase gate (QCPG) operation and a local unitary operation, any one of the two agents has the access to reconstruct the original state if he/she collaborates with the other one, whilst individual agent obtains no information. As all quantum resource can be used to carry the useful information, the intrinsic efficiency of qubits approaches the maximal value. Moreover, the present scheme is more feasible with present-day technique.

Multiparty-controlled teleportation with generalised GHZ states in quantum communication network

Xiaoqing Tan, Lianxia Jiang, Junpeng Hu

A multiparty-controlled teleportation (M-CT) scheme for securely teleporting an arbitrary unknown single-qubit state by using generalised Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states is presented in this paper, i.e., a sender, Alice, transmits an arbitrary single-qubit state to a distant receiver, Bob, under approving by all N controllers Charliei(i = 1, 2, …, N) in a quantum communication network. It is proved feasibly and easily to realise by quantum entanglement. The security of proposed scheme is also discussed. We make sure of the security of the quantum channel between the parties by decoy states. This scheme also can be used to share a quantum secret information in quantum secret sharing.
