Abstract

We present a systematic scheme for deterministic teleportation in a quantum switch network based on probabilistic communication channels. In this scheme, the burden of terminal agents originally caused by the introduction of auxiliary qubits and the operations of high dimensional unitary gates could be released. In such a way, our scheme will bring great convenience to realize deterministic teleportation in quantum probabilistic network for the present purpose.

TRANSFORMATION FROM PROBABILISTIC CHANNEL TO DETERMINISTIC CHANNEL BASED ON EIGHT-QUBIT QUANTUM CHANNEL

Ming-Qiang Bai, Peng Jia-yin, Zhiwen Mo

In physics experiments, it is very difficult to realize directly using high-dimensional unitary operations. In order to decrease or avoid the shortage during the teleportation process based on probabilistic channel, we propose a new scheme to reconstruct a deterministic teleportation eight-qubit channel using Bell-state measurements based on the probabilistic channel, which replaces high-dimensional unitary operations. In our scheme, a new quantum channel without alterable parameters replaces the general quantum channel with parameters as probabilistic teleportation. It shows that if we choose an eight-qubit probabilistic channel to construct deterministic channel, the relevant parameters of the eight-qubit probabilistic channel can be avoided. Thus, in quantum teleportation process, quantum channel can be chosen as a deterministic channel. This shows that our scheme makes real experiments more suitable.

Deterministic teleportation of an arbitrary two-qubit state via a one-dimensional four-qubit cluster state

Hui Li, Chunwen Li, Re-Bing Wu

This paper presents an approach to deterministically teleport an arbitrary two-qubit state through a one-dimensional four-qubit cluster state serving as a probabilistic quantum channel. The channel is modulated in advance to avoid damage to the original states in this scheme, which is caused by the inevitable failure of constructing a channel between the sender and the receiver. The scheme is flexible because the channel can be modulated either by the sender or by the receiver, with the option of deciding whether the sender or the receiver modulates the channel, according to the distribution of the available particle resources. The efficiency can be improved by reusing previously discarded results that may lead to a faithful channel. The scheme can be uniformly performed, so the design process can be greatly simplified to realize a reliable deterministic teleportation. Finally, the scheme is extended to deterministic teleportation of an arbitrary n-qubit state in a generalized form.

Deterministic teleportation channel using bell state measurements only

Min Jiang, Xu Huang, Yiming Zhou

Teleportation schemes based on probabilistic channels usually rely heavily on the implementation of high-dimensional unitary operations. Since high-dimensional unitary operations are very difficult to directly implement in physics experiments, methods are used to avoid high-dimensional unitary operations during the teleportation process. This paper describes how to construct a deterministic teleportation channel and a control channel using Bell state measurements only instead of high-dimensional unitary operations. Here, the general four-particle and five-particle class states are used as the potential quantum channel and the control channel for deterministic teleportation even without access to the relevant parameters. The results show that this scheme makes physical realization of teleportation more reasonable.

Probabilistic teleportation of shared high-dimensional multi-particle secrets

Yang Liu, Min Jiang

Quantum secret-sharing is a fundamental technique in quantum communication and plays a crucial role in high-dimensional quantum secret transmission. This paper investigates the teleportation of arbitrary d-dimensional multipartite quantum secrets and proposes both deterministic and probabilistic teleportation protocols. The schemes employ generalized Bell-state measurements, generalized Pauli operators, and auxiliary particles to achieve efficient and secure quantum secret-sharing. The deterministic protocol employs maximally entangled channels to achieve perfect sharing with unit success probability. Moreover, the probabilistic protocol, assisted by auxiliary particles and generalized unitary operations, achieves perfect fidelity quantum secret sharing via non-maximally entangled channels. The protocols are further extended to arbitrary d-dimensional systems, and their robustness under several common quantum noise models is analyzed numerically. Compared with previous schemes, the proposed protocols support arbitrary multipartite entangled states, high-dimensional systems, non-maximally entangled channels, and noise analysis within a unified framework. These results enrich the theory of high-dimensional quantum communication and provide practical approaches for future quantum secret-sharing and secure quantum networks.

Faithful teleportation via multi-particle quantum states in a network with many agents

Min Jiang, Xu Huang, Lipeng Xue +1 more

An efficient scheme is proposed for faithful teleportation of an arbitrary unknown multi-qudit state via multi-qudit quantum states, in which the teleportation is completely deterministic providing that one can successfully construct a group of generalized Bell pairs. Our scheme can effectively avoid possible destruction of the unknown state to be teleported, which however may occur in existing probabilistic teleportation schemes. In addition, we develop a scheme for establishing a faithful quantum channel for both indirect and direct teleportation multi-particle system, which can be applied in a teleportation network where intermediate agents exist between a sender and a receiver. Compared to the indirect construction of the faithful channel, the required auxiliary particle resources, local operations and classical communications in the direct construction scheme are considerably reduced.

Deterministic teleportation of an arbitrary two-qubit state via a six-qubit cluster state

Hui Li, Jianyong Li

Since decoherence caused by some environment is always present in practice, the quantum channels usually exist in the form of non-maximally entangled states instead of maximally entangled states. We present an approach to deterministically teleport an arbitrary two-qubit state with a probabilistic quantum channel composed of a one-dimensional six-qubit cluster state. To avoid damaging the states to be teleported, the channel is modulated in advance, and Hadamard transformation and Bell state measurement are applied instead of six qubit von Neumann measurement. The scheme is flexible because the channel can be modulated either by the sender or by the receiver, and we may decide which party modulates the channel according to the distribution of available particle and gate operation resources. Furthermore, we provide different ways of redistributing qubits between the sender and the receiver, as well as alternative solutions of constructing the scheme. Finally, for general cases, we extend this scheme to deterministic teleportation of an arbitrary n-qubit state.
