Survey on the potential impact of quantum computing on blockchain security

The security of today’s most trending systems which are the blockchain systems mostly rely on cryptographic algorithms to provide integrity and confidentiality but these are seriously threatened by the advent of quantum computing. This research deals with how quantum computing can affect blockchain security and how it can solve complex mathematical problems that can’t be solved by cryptographic algorithms. We focus on the weak spots of the popular cryptographic algorithms for quantum attacks. We hope our research will be useful to further researchers.
