XLG-MQT, Paper V: Testable Physical Predictions and Mathematical Corollaries

Lingguang Xu

This paper is the fifth and final paper in the XLG Medium Quantum Theory (XLG-MQT) series. It summarizes the testable physical predictions and mathematical corollaries derived from the XLG-MQT framework. The predictions include: light speed variation with medium density, galaxy rotation curves explained by medium compression, cosmic density parameters, spectral redshift from background pressure differences, Bell-type correlation decay through solid barriers, and the modified uncertainty limit. These predictions are quantitative and can be distinguished from the predictions of mainstream quantum mechanics and general relativity. The framework provides a clear basis for experimental falsification.

Analysis of Electron Double Barrier Tunneling Based on Python

Chunxu Mu

Tunneling is a common phenomenon in microphysics, and resonant tunneling is a tunneling phenomenon under special conditions. Double barrier tunneling is an important quantum mechanical phenomenon, which has important application and research value in condensed matter physics, semiconductor devices, quantum mechanics, and nanotechnology. This study takes the double barrier as an example to observe electron tunneling and find out the influence of different parameters on the tunneling effect. In this study, the wave function is calculated by using the method of Schrodinger equation and transpose matrix, and the image is drawn by Python and numerical operation. In this study, it is found that the barrier width is inversely proportional to the transmittance, and the transmittance and reflectance will change periodically with the distance between the two barriers, and the electrons will reach full transmission at a certain incident energy value. Studying the characteristics and mechanisms of double barrier tunneling helps develop new quantum technologies and devices and promotes technological innovation in related fields.

Total delay time and tunnelling time for non-rectangular potential barriers

L. V. Chebotarev

The total delay time for a particle tunnelling through a non-rectangular potential barrier is calculated as an explicit function of the potential energy U(x), on a rigorous mathematical basis. The resulting expression is valid for sufficiently smooth potentials. It represents a physically well defined quantity that is measured in the experiment directly. In particular, an explicit expression for the tunnelling time related to the potential is obtained. It is valid if the particle's wavelength, taken far away from the barrier, is small compared with the barrier's effective length l, irrespective of the value of the barrier penetration integral. Exact sufficient conditions for the validity of Connor's parabolic connection formulae are established.
