Abstract

We construct $R$-matrices (with a multidimensional spectral parameter) that include additive as well as non-additive parameters. They satisfy the colored Yang-Baxter equation. The solutions depend on a set of commuting operators. They change with the representation of the latter. The associated Yang-Baxter algebra and the spectrum of the transfer matrix are also studied.

Series of the solutions to Yang–Baxter equations: Hecke type matrices and descendant R-, L-operators

Shahane A. Khachatryan

We have constructed series of the spectral parameter dependent solutions to the Yang–Baxter equations defined on the tensor product of reducible representations with a symmetry of quantum (super)algebra. These series are produced as descendant solutions from the s l q ( 2 ) -invariant Hecke type R r r ( u ) -matrices. The analogues of the matrices of Hecke type with the symmetry of the quantum super-algebra o s p q ( 1 | 2 ) are obtained precisely. For the homogeneous solutions R r 2 − 1 r 2 − 1 there are constructed Hamiltonian operators of the corresponding one-dimensional quantum integrable models, which describe rather intricate interactions between different kind of spin states. Centralizer operators defined on the products of the composite states are discussed. The inhomogeneous series of the operators R r R ( u ) , extended Lax operators of Hecke type, also are suggested.

Multiparameter dependent solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation

R. B. Zhang

A general method is developed for constructing representations of the Temperley-Lieb algebra, which in turn yield solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation. Several classes of multiparameter dependent R-matrices are obtained using this method, and the connection of the method with quantum groups is discussed.

Quantum Group Construction of Non-standard R-matrix for Yang-Baxter Equation

Mo‐Lin Ge, Sun Changpu, Kang Xue

By taking the concept of weight conservation into account, new solutions of Yang-Baxter equation without spectral parameter are obtained through the non-standard R-matrix on the tensorial space V 1/2 ⊗ V j ( j ≠ 1/2) in terms of the irreducible representation of the quantum universal enveloping algebra SL q (2). The non-standard R-matrix R 1/2 1 is obtained in an explicit form for j = 1.

Solutions of the nonadditive YBE by spectral parameter factorization and re-Yang-Baxterization

A Kundu, B. Basu Mallick

R-matrix solutions for the nonadditive Yang-Baxter equation are obtained in arbitrary dimension using a factorization ansatz in spectral parameters. A symmetry transformation determined for the 'particle conserving' R-matrix is used to formulate a re-Yang-Baxterization scheme with multicomponent spectral parameters, extending the notion of conventional Yang-Baxterization. The possible scope for such a transformation, which has a striking resemblance to Reshetikhin's deformation of R-matrices but extended now to include spectral parameters, is discussed.

The Six-Vertex Yang-Baxter Groupoid

Daniel Bump, Slava Naprienko

A parametrized Yang-Baxter equation is usually defined to be a map from a group to a set of R-matrices, satisfying the Yang-Baxter commutation relation. These are a mainstay of solvable lattice models. We will show how the parameter space can sometimes be enlarged to a groupoid, and give two examples of such groupoid parametrized Yang-Baxter equations, within the six vertex model. A groupoid parametrized Yang-Baxter equation consists of a groupoid $\mathfrak{G}$ together with a map $π:\mathfrak{G}\to\operatorname{End}(V\otimes V)$ for some vector space $V$ such that the Yang-Baxter commutator $[[ π(u),π(w),π(v)]]=0$ if $u,v\in\mathfrak{G}$ are such that the groupoid composition $w=u\star v$ is defined. An important role is played by an object map $Δ:\mathfrak{G}\to M$ for some set $M$ such that $Δ(u)=Δ(v')$, $Δ(w)=Δ(v)$ and $Δ(w')=Δ(u')$, where $v\mapsto v'$ is the groupoid inverse map. There are two main regimes of the six-vertex model: the free-fermionic point, and everything else. For the free-fermionic point, there exists a parametrized Yang-Baxter equation with a large parameter group $\operatorname{GL}(2)\times\operatorname{GL}(1)$. For non-free-fermionic six-vertex matrices, there are also well-known (group) parametrized Yang-Baxter equations, but these do not account for all possible interactions. Instead we will construct a groupoid parametrized Yang-Baxter equation that accounts for essentially all possible Yang-Baxter equations in the six-vertex model. We will also exhibit a separate groupoid for the five-vertex model. We will show how to construct solvable lattice models based on groupoid parametrized Yang-Baxter equations.

GENERALIZED YANG-BAXTER EQUATION

Rinat Kashaev, Yu. G. Stroganov

A generalization of the Yang-Baxter equation is proposed. It enables us to construct integrable two-dimensional lattice models with commuting two-layer transfer matrices, while single-layer ones are not necessarily commutative. Explicit solutions to the generalized equations are found. They are related with Boltzmann weights of the sl (3) chiral Potts models.
