Abstract

Abstract We study the Bures measure of entanglement and the geometric measure of entanglement as special cases of entanglement measures based on fidelity, and find their tighter monogamy inequalities over tri-qubit systems as well as multi-qubit systems. Furthermore, we derive the monogamy inequality of concurrence for qudit quantum systems by projecting higher-dimensional states to qubit substates.

Tighter Monogamy Relations for Concurrence and Negativity in Multiqubit Systems

Yuan-Hong Tao, Kai Zheng, Zhi‐Xiang Jin +1 more

The entanglement in multipartite quantum system is hard to characterize and quantify, although it has been intensively studied in bipartite systems. The monogamy of entanglement, as a special property of multipartite systems, shows the distribution of entanglement in the system. In this paper, we investigate the monogamy relations for multi-qubit systems. By using two entangled measures, namely the concurrence C and the negativity Nc, we establish tighter monogamy inequalities for their α-th power than those in all the existing ones. We also illustrate the tightness of our results for some classes of quantum states.

Qudit Concurrence and Monogamy

Edyharto Yanuwar, Jusak Sali Kosasih

Abstract It is well known that entanglement is one of the distinctive aspects of the quantum world. The measurement and quantification of entanglement is one of the major problems in understanding and applying this resource. This research aims to investigate entanglement measures and their properties in high-dimensional systems. One such property is entanglement monogamy, viz. quantum correlations are not shareable, different from the classical ones. On the other hand, the study of entanglement depends on the definitions of its measures. Here we examine the applicability of concurrence, an entanglement measure known for its effectiveness in the analysis of qubit entanglement. While the entanglement of two-level systems or qubits is widely understood, its extension to higher dimensions remains challenging. Our research establishes equivalence between different concurrence definitions for bipartite qubit pure states and extends them to qudits. Subsequently, we investigate the monogamous relations of these measurements to explore their characteristics. This approach might enhance our comprehension of quantum traits in qudit systems and advance our understanding of entanglement in broader quantum contexts.

Tighter monogamy inequalities of multiqubit entanglement

Jiayi Li, Zhong‐Xi Shen, Shao-Ming Fei

Abstract Multipartite entanglement holds great importance in quantum information processing. The distribution of entanglement among subsystems can be characterized by monogamy relations. Based on the βth power of concurrence and negativity, we provide two new monogamy inequalities. Through detailed examples, we demonstrate that these inequalities are tighter than previous results.

On enhanced monogamy relations: a comparative study with product-form inequalities in multi-qubit systems

Guo-Xin Wang, Yujun Niu

Abstract Quantum entanglement in multipartite systems exhibits a unique restriction on its distribution among subsystems, a fundamental property known as the monogamy of entanglement. Traditionally, monogamy has been quantified for measures such as concurrence through summation-form inequalities. Recently, it has been discovered that concurrence also obeys monogamy constraints expressed via product-form inequalities. In this work, we establish enhanced monogamy inequalities for the ν th power of concurrence (with ν ⩾ 2 ). We demonstrate, through explicit examples, that these new inequalities provide tighter bounds than existing product-form results. Furthermore, we show that our findings remain applicable to monogamy relations in high-dimensional systems.

Generalized product-form monogamy relations in multi-qubit systems

Wen Zhou, Zhong-Xi Shen, Hong-Xing Wu +2 more

Monogamy of entanglement essentially characterizes the entanglement distributions among the subsystems. Generally it is given by summation-form monogamy inequalities. In this paper, we present the product-form monogamy inequalities satisfied by the $ν$-th ($ν\geq2$) power of the concurrence. We show that they are tighter than the existing ones by detailed example. We then establish tighter product-form monogamy inequalities based on the negativity. We show that they are valid even for high dimensional states to which the well-known CKW inequality is violated.

Monogamy properties of qubit systems

Zhu, X., Fei, S.

We investigate monogamy relations related to quantum entanglement for $n-$qubit quantum systems. General monogamy inequalities are presented to the $\beta$th $(\beta\in(0,2))$ power of concurrence, negativity and the convex-roof extended negativity, as well as the $\beta$th $(\beta\in(0,\sqrt{2}))$ power of entanglement of formation. These monogamy relations are complementary to the existing ones with different regions of parameter $\beta$. In additions, new monogamy relations are also derived which include the existing ones as special cases.
