Abstract

We propose a modified quantum teleportation scheme to increase the teleportation accuracy by applying a cubic phase gate to the displaced squeezed state. We describe the proposed scheme in the Heisenberg picture, evaluating it from the point of view of adding an error in teleportation, and show that it allows achieving less error than the original scheme. Repeating the description in the Schr\"odinger picture, we find the range of the displacement values at which our conclusions are valid. Using the example of teleportation of the vacuum state and the squeezed states, we show that the scheme allows one to achieve high-fidelity values.

Teleportation protocols with non-Gaussian operations: Conditional photon subtraction versus cubic phase gate

E. R. Zinatullin, S. B. Korolev, T. Yu. Golubeva

In our paper, we compare three teleportation protocols: The original protocol, the photon subtraction protocol, and the protocol with a cubic phase gate. We evaluate the fidelity of each protocol using the example of teleportation of the squeezed state and the Schr\"odinger cat state. We show that, under equal conditions, the teleportation scheme with a cubic phase gate achieves significantly higher fidelity than the other protocols considered.

High-fidelity quantum teleportation toward cubic phase gates beyond the no-cloning limit

Qingwei Wang, Yuhang Tian, Wei Li +3 more

High-fidelity quantum teleportation is necessary to configure a cubic phase gate that enables the processing of the nonclassicality in an input quantum state. The noise variance of the antisqueezing component, which increases rapidly with a higher pump factor, contaminates the squeezing component due to the phase fluctuation and results in a reduction of the fidelity. Here, we balance the influence of the extraction loss and phase fluctuation on the fidelity and optimize the performance of quantum teleportation. As a result, a fidelity $F=0.905\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.022$ is experimentally achieved. The ultrahigh fidelity is expected to configure a cubic phase gate involving four-time sequential teleportation to perform universal continuous-variable quantum information processing.

Quantum teleportation of a squeezed state

Nobuyuki Takei, T. Aoki, Satoshi Koike +8 more

Quantum teleportation of a squeezed state is demonstrated experimentally. We observe the less variance of the teleported squeezed state than that for the vacuum state input. We verify that the teleportation process operates properly for the nonclassical state input. Using fidelity, we evaluate our results. The fidelity for the squeezed state input is 0.85 which is higher than the classical case of 0.73. This work is an important step toward entanglement swapping.

Accuracy of a teleported squeezed coherent-state superposition trapped into a high- Q cavity

José S. Sales, L. F. da Silva, N. G. de Almeida

We propose a scheme to teleport a superposition of squeezed coherent states from one mode of a lossy cavity to one mode of a second lossy cavity. Based on current experimental capabilities, we present a calculation of the fidelity demonstrating that accurate quantum teleportation can be achieved for some parameters of the squeezed coherent states superposition. The signature of successful quantum teleportation is present in the negative values of the Wigner function.

Optimizing the Fidelity of Teleporting Single Mode Squeezed State

Yun‐Jie Xia

Based on the scheme that continuous-variable quantum teleportation suggested by Braunstein and Kimble, by tuning the displacement gain in the transformation of the output field can optimize the fidelities of teleporting single mode squeezed coherent state and squeezed vacuum state. We analysis the effect of squeezed parameter of single mode squeezed state on the fidelities.

Transfer of squeezed coherent state using quantum teleportation of continuous variables

Aoi Fujimoto, Hiroyuki Ichihara

Quantum entanglement states in continuous-variable quantum teleportation can transfer any quantum state. However, errors occur in the quantum states before and after the transfer in scientific experiments because generating a perfect quantum entanglement is physically unattainable. This paper limits the quantum states transferred to squeezed coherent states and introduces a controller to classical information transfer in continuous-variable quantum teleportation to improve transfer accuracy. Under such a setup, we derived the optimal controller that maximizes the fidelity, independent of the measurement results and the value of the displacement of the squeezed coherent state.
