Abstract

Using the quantum covariant Poisson bracket (QCPB) theory, we can accomplish much more compatible explanations of the quantum mechanics supported by the G-dynamics. We further study the generalized quantum harmonic oscillator equipped with the G-dynamics of type I, such as geometric creation and annihilation operators, and the geometric number operator as an extension of the number operator is well given for the deep discussions, the geometric Hamiltonian operator is expressed as another form. Especially, the geometric quantization rules based on the QCPB theory is then calculated.

The G-dynamics of the QCPB theory

Gen Wang

In this paper, we further study the G-dynamics newly emerged in the covariant dynamics defined by the QCPB theory. Then we want to seek the precise formulations of the G-dynamics to calculate the practical quantum problems. We explicitly verify how the role of G-dynamics plays in quantum mechanics, and then we propose three new operators based on the G-dynamics: D-operator, T-operator and G-operator, we find that the non-Hermitian operators are inevitable to appear in the framework of the QCPB. Then the eigenvalue equation of them are discussed accordingly by using the Schrodinger equation and geometrinetic energy operator (GEO) which leads to the Ri-operator, respectively, we obtain some useful results between two quantum situations. Meanwhile, we present generalized covariant wave equation based on the G-operator. The GEO for quantum harmonic oscillator as an application is further calculated.

Geometric Formulation of Berezin Quantization

Rasoul Rokhnizadeh, H. D. Doebner

In this paper we try to formulate the Berezin quantization on projective Hilbert space P(H) and use its geometric structure. It will be shown that the star product in Berezin quantiza- tion is equivalent to the Poisson bracket on P(H) and the Berezin method to construction a correspondence between a given classical theory and a given quantum theory is used to define a classical limit for geometric quantum mechanics. the covariant symbols. These symbols are expectation values of the observables in terms of coherent states: the holomorphic functions on classical phase space M that is assumed to be aKmanifold. Berezin (2) showed that the covariant symbols form a ∗-algebra which in limit → 0l eads to the Poisson algebra between the corresponding classical observables: The functions on the phase space M. In this paper we will see that the Berezin ∗-algebra is in fact a Poisson algebra which is induced by the Fubini-Study 2-form on space of coherent states. This space is defined as follows: coherent states span a dense subspace H of Hilbert space H. P( H), which is denoted by M, is aKmanifold with induced symplectic structure from P(H). Therefore the covariant symbols can be considered as functions on M. It is shown (13) that there exists an embedding mapping between the classical phase space M and M, by which to any point z ∈ M is associated ap ointZ ∈M. With this construction to all of the quantum observables are associated their covariant symbols, which form a Poisson algebra on M and since the corresponding classical observables form a Poisson algebra on M , the Berezin quantization is a systematic procedure to relate these two Poisson algebras. Also the relation of Berezin quantization and geometric for- mulation of quantum mechanics will be evident as follows. The geometric quantum mechanics is a formulation of quantum mechanics in projective Hilbert spaces. With our construction one sees that the Berezin quantization is an equivalent formulation and in addition gives a prescription as classical limit for geometric quantum mechanics (9).

Bohr-Sommerfeld-Heisenberg Theory in Geometric Quantization

Richard H. Cushman, Jędrzej Śniatycki

In the framework of geometric quantization we extend the Bohr-Sommerfeld rules to a full quantization theory which resembles Heisenberg's matrix theory. This extension is possible because Bohr-Sommerfeld rules not only provide an orthogonal basis in the space of quantum states, but also give a lattice structure to this basis. This permits the definition of appropriate shifting operators. As examples, we discuss the 1-dimensional harmonic oscillator and the coadjoint orbits of the rotation group.

Quantization of Dissipative Anisotropic Harmonic Oscillators

Bashar M. Al-khamiseh, Yazen M. Alawaideh, Hayat Issaadi +4 more

In this study, we developed a Hamiltonian framework for the anisotropic harmonic oscillator and applied the Hamilton-Jacobi equations, which are particularly well-suited for this approach. We were able to find the action function by including boundary conditions in the study of a dissipative anisotropic harmonic oscillator. To quantize the system, we employed three distinct methods: the WKB approximation, canonical quantization, and the creation and annihilation operator technique. The quantization of the Heisenberg equations was achieved by reformulating them using Poisson bracket quantum variables. Through the application of creation and annihilation operators, we derived the energy levels and quantum states of the system. The results demonstrated complete consistency across the different methods. This model exhibits strong agreement among the solutions derived from various approaches, highlighting its importance in advancing the understanding of dissipative quantum systems.
