Abstract

We propose a convenient orthogonal basis of the Hilbert space for the quantum spin chain associated with the A2(2) algebra (or the Izergin–Korepin model). It is shown that compared with the original basis the monodromy-matrix elements acting on this basis take relatively simple forms, which is quite similar as that for the quantum spin chain associated with An algebra in the so-called F-basis. As an application of our general results, we present the explicit recursive expressions of the Bethe states in this basis for the Izergin–Korepin model.

Construction of Monodromy Matrix in the F- basis and scalar products in Spin chains.

А. А. Овчинников

We present in a simple terms the theory of the factorizing operator introduced recently by Maillet and Sanches de Santos for the spin- 1/2 chains. We obtain the explicit expressions for the matrix elements of the factorizing operator in terms of the elements of the Monodromy matrix. We use this results to derive the expression for the general scalar product for the quantum spin chain. We comment on the previous determination of the scalar product of Bethe eigenstate with an arbitrary dual state. We also establish the direct correspondence between the calculations of scalar products in the F- basis and the usual basis. 1. Introduction. One of the most important open problems in the theory of quantum integrable models is the calculation of the correlation functions. In the framework of the Algebraic Bethe Ansatz method [1] the problem is the combinatorial complexity of calculations due to the structure of Bethe eigenstates. Only the very limited number of physical results for the correlation

A representation basis for the quantum integrable spin chain associated with the su(3) algebra

Kun Hao, Junpeng Cao, Guang-Liang Li +3 more

An orthogonal basis of the Hilbert space for the quantum spin chain associated with the su(3) algebra is introduced. Such kind of basis could be treated as a nested generalization of separation of variables (SoV) basis for high-rank quantum integrable models. It is found that all the monodromy-matrix elements acting on a basis vector take simple forms. With the help of the basis, we construct eigenstates of the su(3) inhomogeneous spin torus (the trigonometric su(3) spin chain with antiperiodic boundary condition) from its spectrum obtained via the off-diagonal Bethe Ansatz (ODBA). Based on small sites (i.e. N = 2) check, it is conjectured that the homogeneous limit of the eigenstates exists, which gives rise to the corresponding eigenstates of the homogenous model.

Derivation of Matrix Product Ansatz for the Heisenberg Chain from Algebraic Bethe Ansatz

Hosho Katsura, Isao Maruyama

We derive a matrix product representation of the Bethe ansatz state for the XXX and XXZ spin-1/2 Heisenberg chains using the algebraic Bethe ansatz. In this representation, the components of the Bethe eigenstates are expressed as traces of products of matrices which act on ${\bar {\mathscr H}}$, the tensor product of auxiliary spaces. By changing the basis in ${\bar {\mathscr H}}$, we derive explicit finite-dimensional representations for the matrices. These matrices are the same as those appearing in the recently proposed matrix product ansatz by Alcaraz and Lazo [Alcaraz F C and Lazo M J 2006 {\it J. Phys. A: Math. Gen.} \textbf{39} 11335.] apart from normalization factors. We also discuss the close relation between the matrix product representation of the Bethe eigenstates and the six-vertex model with domain wall boundary conditions [Korepin V E 1982 {\it Commun. Math. Phys.}, \textbf{86} 391.] and show that the change of basis corresponds to a mapping from the six-vertex model to the five-vertex model.

Spinorial R operator and Algebraic Bethe Ansatz

David Roudolph Karakhanyan, R. Kirschner

We propose a new approach to the spinor-spinor R-matrix with orthogonal and symplectic symmetry. Based on this approach and the fusion method we relate the spinor-vector and vector-vector monodromy matrices for quantum spin chains. We consider the explicit spinor R matrices of low rank orthogonal algebras and the corresponding RTT algebras. Coincidences with fundamental R matrices allow to relate the Algebraic Bethe Ansatz for spinor and vector monodromy matrices.
