Abstract

Abstract The Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction has been proved to excite entanglement of spin systems, enhancing the ability to realizing various quantum tasks such as teleportation. In this work we consider DM interaction—to the best of our knowledge for the first time—in quantum game theory. We study the winning probability of the magic square game played with the thermally entangled state of spin models under external magnetic fields and DM interaction. We analytically show that although DM interaction excites the entanglement of the system as expected, it surprisingly reduces the winning probability of the game, acting like temperature or magnetic fields, and also show that the effects of DM interaction and an inhomogeneous magnetic field on the winning probability are identical. In addition, we show that the XXZ model is considerably more robust than the XX model against destructive effects. Our results open up new insights for quantum information processing with spin systems.

Entanglement and teleportation in thermal states of spin chains with nonlinear coupling

Nour Zidan, Ahmed Redwan, Tarek M. El-Shahat +2 more

The impact of nonlinear coupling on entanglement and teleportation in a two-qubit spin system featuring Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction was investigated while considering both homogeneous and inhomogeneous magnetic fields. Additionally, the dependencies of entanglement and teleportation on temperature and magnetic field for this specific interaction were analyzed. The findings demonstrate that the nonlinear coupling and DM interaction play significant roles in enhancing entanglement and teleportation. Furthermore, the results show that nonlinear coupling can positively affect the negativity and accuracy of teleportation, which are critical factors in quantum information processing. This suggests that nonlinear coupling could be valuable in developing quantum technologies.

Thermal Entanglement in a Three-qubit Heisenberg XX Model with Dzyaloshinski-Moriya Interaction

Feng Gao

Thermal pairwise entanglement of a three-qubit Heisenberg XX chain with the Dzyaloshinski-Moriya(DM) anisotropic antisymmetric interaction under an external magnetic field and quantum teleportation when using the Heisenberg chain as a channel are investigated. The entanglement and fidelity depending on the DM interaction, magnetic field and temperature are given in detail. The results show that the thermal entanglement can be controlled by magnetic field and DM interaction.Quantum teleportation will be better realized via an ferromagnetic spinchain when the DM interaction and external magnetic field are turned off and the temperature is low.The thermal entanglement cannot completely reflect the teleportation fidelity, and the same thermal entanglement could yield different average teleportation fidelities.

Entanglement in One-Dimensional RandomXYSpin Chain with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya Interaction

Shan Chuan-Jia, Cheng Wei-Wen, Tang-Kun Liu +2 more

The impurities of exchange couplings, external magnetic fields and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction considered as Gaussian distribution, and the entanglement in one-dimensional random XY spin systems is investigated by the method of solving the different spin-spin correlation functions and the average magnetization per spin. The entanglement dynamics at central locations of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic chains have been studied by varying the three impurities and the strength of DM interaction. (i) For the ferromagnetic spin chain, the weak DM interaction can improve the amount of entanglement to a large value, and the impurities have the opposite effect on the entanglement below and above critical DM interaction. (ii) For the antiferromagnetic spin chain, DM interaction can enhance the entanglement to a steady value. Our results imply that DM interaction strength, the impurity and exchange couplings (or magnetic field) play competing roles in enhancing quantum entanglement.

Unveiling the thermal entanglement in a mixed-spin XXZ model with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction under a homogeneous magnetic field

Cheng‐Cheng Liu, Shuai Xu, Juan He +1 more

We analytically investigate the thermal entanglement of three-mixed-spin (1/2, 1, 1/2) XXZ model with the DM interaction under an external magnetic field B. Two different cases are considered: one subsystem (1/2, 1/2) consists of two spin-1/2 fermions and the other subsystem (1/2, 1) contains a spin-1/2 fermion and a spin-1 boson. It is shown that the DM interaction parameter D, the external magnetic field strength B and coupling constant J have different effects on Fermi and mixed Fermi–Bose systems. All of the factors mentioned above can be utilized to control entanglement switch of any two particles in mixed spins model.

Thermal entanglement of Ising model with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in an inhomogeneous magnetic field

HE Dai-guo

Taking Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya(DM)effect interaction into account, the entanglement of two-qubit Ising model in an inhomogeneous magnetic field is investigated by means of Negativity theory. It is shown that the existence of DM interaction can obviously enhance the entanglement and put it into a maximum while the magnetic field reduces the entanglement. In addition, low temperature also plays a positive role in entanglement. Moreover, the influence of inhomogeneous magnetic field is also investigated. These effects indicate that one can control the thermal entanglement by manipulation of DM interaction, the homogeneous and inhomogeneous magnetic field and temperature.

Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions effects on the entanglement dynamics of a two qubit xxz spin system in non-Markovian environment

Georges Collince Fouokeng, Martin Tchoffo, Edwine Tendong +1 more

We investigate the exact entanglement dynamics of a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interactions, interacting with an anisotropic spin bath in thermal equi- librium at a temperature T, driven by an external magnetic field B along the z-axis. We establish that, for an initially entangled qubit pair, the DM interactions generate entanglement and enhance the entanglement in the revival region. The effects of the DM interaction are also seen to be very important at high temperatures and for weak coupling between the two qubits where it is seen to preserve entanglement. These effects are weakened when the magnetic field B and the Heisenberg coupling are switched on. If the two-qubits are prepared in an initially separable state, the DM in- teraction instead has a negative effect on their entanglement. On a whole entanglement can better be preserve in the spin chain even at high temperatures by increases the external magnetic field B and the Heisenberg couplings, and by tuning the strength of the DM interaction.
