Abstract

We present a different kind of monogamous relations based on concurrence and concurrence of assistance. For $N$-qubit systems $AB{C}_{1}...{C}_{N\ensuremath{-}2}$, the monogamy relations satisfied by the concurrence of $N$-qubit pure states under the partition $AB$ and ${C}_{1}...{C}_{N\ensuremath{-}2}$, as well as under the partition $AB{C}_{1}$ and ${C}_{2}...{C}_{N\ensuremath{-}2}$, are established, which gives rise to a kind of restrictions on the entanglement distribution and trade off among the subsystems.

Optimized generalized monogamy relations and upper bounds for N-qubit systems

Zhong‐Xi Shen, Dong‐Ping Xuan, Wen Zhou +2 more

Abstract We present optimized generalized monogamy relations and upper bounds derived from concurrence and concurrence of assistance. We first establish a tighter general upper bound of the αth ( 0 ⩽ α ⩽ 2 ) power of concurrence for N-qubit states. Then for N-qubit systems A B C 1 … C N − 2 , the optimized monogamy relations and upper bounds satisfied by the αth ( 0 ⩽ α ⩽ 2 ) power of concurrence of N-qubit pure states under the partition AB and C 1 … C N − 2 , as well as under the partition ABC 1 and C 2 … C N − 2 are established, which give rise to restrictions on the entanglement distribution and trade offs among the subsystems. Moreover, the utilization of the W-class states demonstrates that our results are tighter compared with the existing results. Similar results are also obtained for negativity.

Multipartite monogamy of the concurrence

Marcio F. Cornelio

The monogamy of entanglement is generally discussed using a bipartite entanglement measure as an upper bound. Here we discuss a new kind of monogamous relation where the upper bound is given by a multipartite measure of entanglement, the generalized concurrence. We show a monogamous equality involving the multipartite concurrence, all the bipartite concurrences, and the genuine tripartite entanglement for pure three-qubit systems. The result extends to mixed states in an inequality involving the generalized concurrence and all the bipartite concurrences. We provide a counterexample showing that the result cannot be extended for systems with more than three qubits.

Monogamy inequalities of entanglement of assistance in $2\otimes 2\otimes d$ systems

Xue-Na Zhu, Gui Bao, Zhi-Xiang Jin +2 more

The monogamy relations characterize the distribution of quantum correlations among the multipartite quantum systems. We study the monogamy relations of the entanglement of assistance in $2\otimes 2\otimes d$ systems. We present explicitly the relations satisfied by the concurrence, the tangle and the concurrence of assistance, which can be used to derive rigorous monogamy relations. Detailed examples are given to illustrate our results.

Entanglement monogamy relations of qubit systems

Xue‐Na Zhu, Shao-Ming Fei

We investigate the monogamy relations related to the concurrence and the entanglement of formation. General monogamy inequalities given by the $\ensuremath{\alpha}\text{th}$ power of concurrence and entanglement of formation are presented for $N$-qubit states. The monogamy relation for entanglement of assistance is also established. Based on these general monogamy relations, the residual entanglement of concurrence and entanglement of formation are studied. Some relations among the residual entanglement, entanglement of assistance, and three tangle are also presented.

Characterizing entanglement shareability and distribution in $N$-partite systems

Hui Li, Ting Gao, Fengli Yan

Exploring the shareability and distribution of entanglement possesses fundamental significance in quantum information tasks. In this paper, we demonstrate that the square of bipartite entanglement measures $G_q$-concurrence, which is the generalization of concurrence, follows a set of hierarchical monogamy relations for any $N$-qubit quantum state. On the basis of these monogamy inequalities, we render two kinds of hierarchical indicators that exhibit evident advantages in the capacity of witnessing entanglement. Moreover, we show an analytical relation between $G_q$-concurrence and concurrence in $2\otimes d$ systems. Furthermore, we rigorously prove that the monogamy property of squared $G_q$-concurrence is superior to that of squared concurrence in $2\otimes d_2\otimes d_3\otimes\cdots\otimes d_N$ systems. In addition, several concrete examples are provided to illustrate that for multilevel systems, the squared $G_q$-concurrence satisfies the monogamy relation, even if the squared concurrence does not. These results better reveal the intriguing characteristic of multilevel entanglement and provide critical insights into the entanglement distribution within multipartite quantum systems.

Generalized monogamy linear entropy relations for multi-qubit pure states

Xin-Wei Zha, Irfan Ahmed, Da Zhang +1 more

Abstract Monogamy of entanglement is an interesting property discovered recently in the context of multi-qubit entanglement. Here, we present a new kind of monogamous relations for pure quantum states of N qubits. By comparing the entanglement monogamy equality proposed by Coffman, Kundu, and Wootters, we prove that there exists a strict triangle relation for the three-qubit system. Since the entropy defines the entanglement of a pure state of a pair of quantum systems; therefore, using linear entropy, we conjecture that there is a polygon relation of many-qubit systems. We also formalize the general triangle relation for the three-qubit system.
